Every store has products that belong together. The water filter the espresso machine needs. The lens that fits the camera. The bigger model that is worth the extra money. Customers want them, but they shouldn't have to go looking for them.
NudgeSells shows the right products at the right moment: on the product page, right above the Add to cart button, ready to add in one click.
Recommendations your customers trust
Generic "you may also like" blocks guess. NudgeSells knows. You tell it what is true about your products, in plain sentences: "When a customer views Espresso Machine, recommend Water Filter as Required." NudgeSells does the rest: it picks what to show for every product, leaves out what doesn't fit, and explains why.
- Never recommend the wrong thing. Mark products as incompatible or already included, and they are never suggested together.
- The right color, automatically (Pro). Viewing the green kettle? Only green accessories show, with green already selected.
- Already in the cart? Not shown again.
- Your WooCommerce cross-sells and upsells count too, so you start with what you already have.
Six relationships that say what a product is for
Every rule gives a relationship a meaning, so NudgeSells knows where a product belongs, how to present it and what to say about it. You don't need to set up every type: a few rules for your best sellers already go a long way.
- Required: what the product needs to work, like the water filter for an espresso machine. Pre-selected in Complete their setup, marked "Needed", and in the "Don't forget" reminder when it's missing from the cart.
- Compatible: products that work with it, like a lens that fits the camera. Shown as add-ons with a "Compatible" badge, so customers buy with confidence.
- Accessory: nice-to-have extras, like a knock box or a camera bag. The easy add-ons that grow the order.
- Consumable: what gets used up and bought again, like cleaning tablets, ink or filters. Marked "Refill", and in the "Don't forget" reminder when it's missing from the cart.
- Upgrade: the better version a customer may prefer instead. Shown as a clear choice in Upgrade their choice, with your reasons why, one per line.
- Alternative: a comparable option in the same role, like another model in the range, for customers who are still comparing.
Two more keep recommendations right:
Included (already in the box) and
Incompatible (doesn't work with it) are never recommended together. The badge texts can be changed in the settings.
Three ways to help a customer decide
- Recommend: a short list of accessories that go with the product.
- Complete their setup: pick a version, get everything it needs pre-selected, then the extras. The list follows the version the customer picks.
- Upgrade their choice: a clear choice between this product and a better one, with the reasons why.
Bigger orders, without the pushy tricks
No popups, no countdown banners on every page, no exit-intent. Just useful suggestions that make the order complete:
- Discounts per product, or a bundle discount for taking the full set, with a progress bar that shows how close the customer is.
- A "Don't forget" reminder in the cart for the required items and refills a customer is about to miss.
- One click adds the product, its add-ons and the upgrade to the cart together.
Looks like it belongs in your store
NudgeSells uses WooCommerce's own images, prices and links, follows your theme's fonts, and comes in list, card and dropdown layouts. Pick your colors, corners and badges, or switch NudgeSells' styles off and let your theme take over. Place it automatically, or exactly where you want it with a block or shortcode.
Know what works
See what your recommendations earned, and get a short list of what to do next: which best sellers still need rules, and which offers aren't being shown.
Test a product shows exactly what a product page displays and why, including what was left out.
Ready for search engines and AI shopping assistants
Your product relationships are added to your product pages' structured data, so search engines understand which products are accessories, refills or alternatives. A read-only REST API makes the same knowledge available to your own search, apps and AI assistants.
NudgeSells Pro: the intelligence runs itself
Pro learns from your store, so recommendations keep getting better without extra work: it finds what customers buy together, ranks what converts, suggests rules for best sellers you haven't covered yet, and lets you test offers against each other.
