详情介绍:

Origin Layouts Manager extends SiteOrigin Page Builder with reusable templates and administrator-controlled row and column options. Save complete SiteOrigin Page Builder layouts or individual rows, then reuse them without rebuilding the same content and settings. Layout Controls also lets administrators simplify the SiteOrigin editing experience, manage existing fields, and create project-specific row and column fields without hard-coding them in a theme. Reusable SiteOrigin layouts and rows Custom SiteOrigin row and column fields Layout Controls gives administrators a visual interface for managing the fields shown in SiteOrigin Row Styles and Column Styles. Supported custom field types include text, URL, number, textarea, code, checkbox, toggle, select, multi-select, color, measurement, slider, image, and image size fields. Custom field values can be applied as CSS classes, IDs, data attributes, CSS properties, or CSS custom properties. Output choices are limited and sanitized to make administrator-created controls safer and more predictable. Theme colors and measurement units Create a SiteOrigin color palette containing up to 16 project or brand colors. Palette colors can be named, reordered, and selected from SiteOrigin color fields. Color names and hex values appear when hovering over configured palette swatches, helping editors distinguish similar colors. Choose which measurement units appear in SiteOrigin spacing and sizing fields. Hide units that clients do not need, reorder the remaining units, or enable modern units such as rem, viewport units, and dynamic viewport units. Optional modern full-width rows SiteOrigin traditionally uses JavaScript to stretch full-width rows beyond the theme content container. Origin Layouts Manager includes an optional modern CSS method for full-width and contained rows. Configure the contained content width, minimum side gutter, and overflow protection from Layout Controls. Existing SiteOrigin row padding is preserved, including responsive tablet and mobile values. The original SiteOrigin JavaScript method remains available and is the default until an administrator chooses Modern CSS. Origin Layouts Manager works alongside SiteOrigin Page Builder and does not alter the SiteOrigin plugin files.

常见问题:

How do I save a SiteOrigin template?

Open the page or post containing your SiteOrigin layout and click the Layouts button. Select Import/Export in the Layouts window, enter a title in the Set Template Title field, and click Save Layout. If no title is entered, the current page title is used. You can also choose Update Existing Template to replace a previously saved template instead of creating a new one.

How do I save and reuse an individual SiteOrigin row?

Open the row menu in SiteOrigin Page Builder and choose Save Row as Template. Name the row and save it. The saved row is then available with your other Origin templates and can be inserted through SiteOrigin's Layouts interface.

How do I apply a saved template to a page or post?

Open SiteOrigin Page Builder and click Layouts. Your saved templates appear in the Prebuilt Layouts section. Select a template, click Insert, and choose whether it should replace, appear before, or appear after the current layout.

Can I add custom fields to SiteOrigin rows and columns without PHP?

Yes. Go to Origin Layout Manager > Layout Controls and open the Row Fields or Column Fields tab. Add a field to a compatible section, choose its field type, and configure how its value should be output on the frontend.

What happens when I turn off a SiteOrigin field?

The field is hidden from the SiteOrigin editing panel, but values previously saved in page layouts are retained. Turning the field back on makes it available again with its saved values.

Can I move custom fields between SiteOrigin sections?

Yes. Drag a custom field into another compatible section. Native SiteOrigin fields can be reordered but remain in the section registered by SiteOrigin, the active theme, or another plugin.

How does the custom SiteOrigin color palette work?

Open the Settings tab in Layout Controls and add up to 16 colors under Theme Color Palette. Colors can be labeled and reordered. They appear as quick-select swatches in supported SiteOrigin color fields, and the configured label and hex value appear on hover.

Can I limit the measurement units available to editors?

Yes. The Settings tab lets administrators enable, disable, and reorder the units shown in SiteOrigin measurement fields. This can simplify the interface for clients while still allowing modern CSS units when a project needs them.

What is the Modern CSS full-width option?

Modern CSS is an optional alternative to SiteOrigin's JavaScript-based full-width row stretching. It uses CSS to stretch rows to the viewport and provides settings for contained content width, side gutters, and overflow protection. You can switch back to the original SiteOrigin method at any time.

Can I export my saved templates?

Origin Layouts Manager does not currently provide a separate bulk template export. SiteOrigin's own Layouts > Import/Export tool can download and upload individual layout JSON files. Origin Layout Manager > Import / Export is for transferring your Row Fields and Column Fields configuration between sites.

Where can I find my saved templates?

Saved templates are available under Origin Layout Manager > Origin Templates.

Can I add custom images or descriptions to templates?

Yes. Edit a saved template under Origin Templates to add a Featured Image and Layout Description. These make templates easier to recognize in the Prebuilt Layouts list.

Does this plugin work with other page builders?

No. Origin Layouts Manager is specifically designed for SiteOrigin Page Builder.

Does this plugin support the Gutenberg Block Editor?

The current release supports SiteOrigin Page Builder's traditional Classic Editor interface. SiteOrigin Layout Blocks inside the Gutenberg Block Editor are not currently supported. If new posts open in the Block Editor, go to Settings > Page Builder and enable Use Classic Editor for New Posts for the post types where you use Origin Layouts Manager.
