Where is my video processed?

Is my video stored permanently?

Uploaded originals are removed from the external server after processing. Compressed videos remain there as long as the account is active. In case of prolonged inactivity, the account holder first receives an email warning, with a reasonable period to become active again before the video is deleted.

Can I restore an optimized video in my media library back to the original?

Yes. When you optimize an existing video from your media library, the plugin keeps a backup of the original locally on your own website. You can restore it at any time with one click via the "Restore original" link in your media library.
