PackVerity helps WooCommerce stores maintain structured packaging records without relying on a separate spreadsheet for every order. Define packaging weights for products and variations, create shipping packaging profiles, and let PackVerity calculate material totals when WooCommerce orders are processed. Packaging is split into paper/cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminium, ferrous metal, wood, and other. The Free edition includes: PackVerity stores its operational data in the merchant's own WordPress/WooCommerce database. The Free edition does not include telemetry, an external licence check, or a required account connection. PackVerity is an administration and evidence tool. It does not determine whether you are legally a producer, determine EPR obligations, validate legal material classifications, submit statutory filings, or guarantee regulatory compliance. PackVerity Professional PackVerity Professional is a separate commercial distribution for stores that need advanced historical and audit workflows. It adds detailed append-only audit views and audit CSV, historical product-version browsing, historical order backfill, documented manual adjustments, and manual order resynchronization. The Free edition remains usable without purchasing Professional.

安装:

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
  2. Install and activate PackVerity.
  3. Edit a WooCommerce product and enter packaging weights in the PackVerity fields.
  4. Go to WooCommerce > PackVerity and create at least one shipping profile.
  5. Set a default shipping profile, or select a profile on individual orders.
  6. Process a test order and verify the totals on the PackVerity dashboard.

常见问题:

Does PackVerity guarantee EPR or packaging-law compliance?

No. PackVerity records and reports packaging data. Legal obligations, classifications, declarations, thresholds, and filing requirements must be assessed separately.

Does the Free edition send customer orders to PackVerity servers?

No. The Free edition does not require a PackVerity account and contains no PackVerity telemetry or licence API. Packaging records are stored in the store's WordPress/WooCommerce database.

What happens when product packaging changes later?

PackVerity records internal packaging versions so order processing can use historical master data. The Free interface focuses on current order totals; the dedicated historical version browser and detailed audit workflow are Professional features.

How are refunds handled?

By default a financial refund does not reduce packaging, because it does not prove packaging was physically returned. Stores can optionally enable refunded product-quantity subtraction. Outbound shipping packaging is not automatically subtracted.

Is HPOS supported?

Yes. PackVerity declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage.

How do I switch from PackVerity Free to Professional?

Deactivate PackVerity Free before activating PackVerity Professional. The Free edition keeps PackVerity data by default on deactivation, and both editions use compatible internal data keys. Do not run both editions at the same time.
