Your pages already rank for things you never planned for, and the fixes are small: a title that gets clicked, a description that says what the page does, a heading Google can read. PageSoar finds them and drafts each one. You approve it. This plugin is how the approved fix reaches your site.
A PageSoar account is required. This plugin is the connector for the PageSoar service at
https://pagesoar.com. Without a PageSoar workspace it does nothing.
What PageSoar can change on your site, once you approve it:
- Search titles, descriptions and the hide-from-Google setting of pages and posts (Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO fields)
- Page text and headings, saved as a WordPress revision you can compare and restore
- Image alt text, and a new share image added to the media library
- Structured data Google reads: FAQ, breadcrumbs and awards you confirm
- Redirects for pages that are gone, when the site runs Safe Redirect Manager or Rank Math
- PageSoar's heat map script on your public pages, once you turn heat maps on
What it can never do:
- Publish a draft, or delete anything
- Change users, plugins, themes or site settings
- Add any other script, or unfiltered HTML
- Save over a page somebody has open in the editor
PageSoar signs in as its own user, pagesoar-connector, with a key made for your site when you connect. It never uses your login and needs no application password. Every change is listed under Settings, PageSoar, where you can undo it, pause PageSoar or disconnect it.
- In WordPress: Plugins, Add New Plugin, search for PageSoar Connector, press Install Now, then Activate. WordPress opens Settings, PageSoar.
- Copy the connection code from PageSoar's Connect screen, paste it, and press Connect.
- PageSoar checks the connection by itself. Its Connect screen turns green.
Start with your test site if you have one.
Sites deployed from git (WordPress VIP and similar): commit the pagesoar-connector folder to your plugins folder and load it with mu-loader.php (copy it into mu-plugins). Each environment is paired on its own, with its own code from PageSoar.
When production is cloned into staging, staging's copy of the connection stays with production and does nothing on staging: Settings, PageSoar says the site is a copy. Paste a new code made for staging.
