THE SETUP
On Paychant
- Go to the Paychant merchant dashboard.
- Log in, or create account if you have not yet.
- In the sidebar on the left click Settings.
- Navigate to the API Access.
- Click on the create API token button.
- Copy the Live API token.

WARNING: Don’t share your API token with anyone. It can be used to create and validate orders on your behalf.
On WordPress

Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Choose the Payments tab (or Checkout in older versions).
- Click on Paychant.
- Check the Enable Paychant Payment Gateway.

Enter your Live API token and click Save.

Automatic Installation
- Login to your WordPress Admin area
- Go to "Plugins > Add New" from the left hand menu
- In the search box type Paychant Payment Gateway for WooCommerce
- From the search result you will see Paychant Payment Gateway for WooCommerce click on Install Now to install the plugin
- A popup window will ask you to confirm your wish to install the Plugin.
- After installation, activate the plugin.
- Open the settings page for WooCommerce and click the "Checkout" tab.
- Click on the Paychant link from the available Checkout Options
- Configure your Paychant Payment Gateway settings. See below for details.
Manual Installation
- Download the plugin zip file
- Login to your WordPress Admin. Click on "Plugins > Add New" from the left hand menu.
- Click on the "Upload" option, then click "Choose File" to select the zip file from your computer. Once selected, press "OK" and press the "Install Now" button.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open the settings page for WooCommerce and click the "Checkout" tab.
- Click on the Paychant link from the available Checkout Options
- Configure your Paychant Payment Gateway settings. See below for details.
Configure the plugin
To configure the plugin, go to
WooCommerce > Settings from the left hand menu, then click
Payments (or Checkout in older versions) from the top tab. You will see
Paychant as part of the available Payments Options. Click on it to configure the payment gateway.
- Enable/Disable - check the box to enable Paychant Payment Gateway.
- Title - This controls the title which the user sees during checkout.
- Description - This is the message box that will appear on the checkout page when they select Paychant.
- Environment - You can either select Test (Sandbox) or Live (Production), Test (Sandbox) enables you to test payments before going live. And if you are ready to start accepting real payments, change the selection to Live (Production)
- Sandbox API token - Enter your Sandbox API token here. Get your API token from your Paychant Merchant Account
- Live API token - Enter your Live API token here. Get your API token from your Paychant Merchant Account
- Click on Save Changes for the changes you made to be effected.
