PhiXtra - AI Sales Agent

The PhiXtra AI Sales Agent is an AI-powered sales agent for your WooCommerce store — it chats with customers, helps them find products, answers questions, and provides support. Your published WooCommerce products are sent to PhiXtra automatically once your API key is saved, so the AI can answer questions about them and recommend them. New, changed, sold-out and deleted products follow by themselves. One plugin does it all. You need a PhiXtra API key to use this plugin. Get one from: https://portal.phixtra.com/

3.9.13

• Fix: the product search box under "Only these products" on the Products tab now works.
• Fix: the colour pickers on the settings page load again.
• "Connect to PhiXtra" is now the main button when the plugin isn't connected yet, with "Create your free account" below it for new users.

3.9.12

• Connect to PhiXtra in one click: log in to PhiXtra, approve your website, and your API key is filled in for you. No copying or pasting.
• You choose which products the AI can recommend: none, chosen categories, chosen products, or all published products. New stores send no products until they choose.
• Products come from one place at a time: if your PhiXtra account uses an uploaded product list (Excel or CSV), the Products tab says so and the shop's products are not sent.

3.9.11

• Product sync is now built in: your published WooCommerce products are sent to PhiXtra automatically, so the separate PhiXtra Export plugin is no longer needed. A new Products tab shows how many products were sent and when, has a "Sync all products now" button, and lets you choose all published products or only chosen categories. Each product gets a "Sync to PhiXtra" link and a small PhiXtra box.
• Products that go out of stock after a sale, are unpublished, trashed or deleted are updated in PhiXtra by themselves. If PhiXtra can't be reached, products wait and are sent again automatically.
• Includes the unreleased 3.9.10 changes below: live replies from your team, word-by-word answers, the Plans page link, and the phone fix for the chat bubble label.

3.9.10

• Live replies from your team: when a chat goes to your team (AI switched off, AI messages used up, or the AI hands over), your team's replies from the PhiXtra Inbox now appear in the visitor's chat box. With the chat closed, the bubble shows how many replies are waiting.
• Word-by-word answers: the AI's answer appears as it is written, with an automatic fall-back to the normal answer.
• The "Open Upgrade Page" button in Settings now opens the Plans page in the PhiXtra portal (the old page no longer exists).
• Includes 3.9.9: on phones, the chat bubble's greeting label is hidden so it no longer covers page content.

3.9.9

• On phones, the chat bubble's greeting label is now hidden so it no longer covers page content. The chat button itself still shows.

3.9.8

• Rebranded plugin from "AI Shopping Assistant" to "PhiXtra AI Sales Agent" — updated plugin title, description, tags, and admin menu labels to match, and aligned the External Services "Service" line to the new name.
• Added a "Settings" quick-link on the Plugins list screen.
• Added a "Welcome to PhiXtra" onboarding page shown on activation, plus a background account-connection check (see External Services item 8) so the settings page can tell the admin once their account is verified.
• Restructured the Settings page into tabs (General, Appearance, Widget Behavior, Cart Recovery, Preview).
• Added "Bubble Label" and "Bubble Subtitle" settings to customize the chat bubble's preview text.
• Added an admin notice prompting installation of the companion PhiXtra Export plugin once an API key is connected (removed in 3.9.11, where product sync is built in).
• Added separate, admin-configurable popup delay (and a "never show" option) for desktop vs. mobile visitors.
• Chat widget "Agent" label is now customizable via a new Agent Name setting.

3.9.7

• WordPress.org compliance update (readme.txt only):
• Rewrote External Services endpoint list to use plain-text hostnames instead of bare https:// URLs for POST-only paths, preventing the WP.org URL checker from issuing a false 405 error when it probes those paths with a GET request.
• Added "URL rendering in the chat widget" section to document that assets/widget.js prepends https:// to bare URLs inside AI responses purely for in-browser link rendering, and contacts no third-party domain in doing so.
• Updated Terms of Service link to correct URL (phixtra.com/terms-and-conditions/ previously returned 404).

3.9.6

• WordPress.org compliance update:
• Replaced all inline admin CSS (echo style) with wp_add_inline_style().
• Replaced all inline admin blocks with a dedicated enqueued JS file (assets/admin-settings.js).
• Added allowlist-based sanitization for font-family setting to prevent CSS injection.
• Added nonce verification to the /apply-recovery-coupon REST endpoint.
• Renamed all option/function/handle names to use the 'phixaish_' unique prefix (plugin-wide rename for WordPress.org compliance).
• Expanded External Services documentation in readme.txt.

1.4.0

• WordPress.org release.
• Settings sanitization and admin improvements.
