AI Content Toolbar adds practical AI writing actions to supported WordPress text fields and TinyMCE-based editors.
The toolbar appears when you focus a compatible field and provides up to five configurable functions:
- Write content from your input
- Generate content from available page context
- Improve spelling, grammar, and clarity without changing the meaning
- Format and structure rich text
- Translate content into selected languages

- Install and activate the plugin.
- Open AI Content Toolbar in the WordPress administration menu.
- Enter your OpenAI API key.
- Select an AI model and the functions that should appear in the toolbar.
- Select your translation languages and save the settings.
- Focus a supported text field or TinyMCE editor to activate the toolbar.

Which OpenAI model should I choose?
GPT-5.6 Luna is the default because it is optimized for cost-sensitive, high-volume work. Terra offers a stronger quality/cost balance, while Sol is intended for quality-first work.
Does the plugin change my content automatically?
No. Content is sent only when you deliberately select a toolbar action. The result replaces the active field only after the request succeeds.
Can I hide the toolbar?
Yes. Use the eye button or press Escape to collapse it. Click the compact AI button to show it again. The state is remembered in your browser.
Where is my API key stored?
The API key is stored as an option in your WordPress database. It is sent to OpenAI in the Authorization header only when you use a toolbar action. Protect your WordPress database and restrict administrator access.
Does it work with Gutenberg?
This release does not provide full Gutenberg block integration. It targets standard fields and TinyMCE-based editors. You can optionally enable the Classic Editor behavior from the plugin settings.
