Portal Entry Guard allows you to protect selected WordPress pages with a lightweight email access gate. Visitors must enter a valid email address before accessing a protected page. No user account, OTP, or email verification is required. The plugin is designed to be simple, lightweight, and easy to configure.

安装:

  1. Upload the portal-entry-guard folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to Settings > Portal Entry Guard.
  4. Select the pages you want to protect.
  5. Configure the access duration and gate text.
  6. Click Save Settings.

常见问题:

Does the plugin send an OTP?

No. The plugin does not send OTPs or require email verification.

Does the visitor need a WordPress account?

No. Visitors only need to provide a valid email address.

Can I protect multiple pages?

Yes. Multiple pages can be selected from the plugin settings.

Can I remove protection from a page?

Yes. Uncheck the page in the Protected Pages list and save the settings.

How long does visitor access remain active?

The administrator can configure the access duration from 1 to 365 days.

Can administrators access protected pages without entering an email?

Yes. Users with the manage_options capability can bypass the email gate.
