Printa Calculate

Printa Calculate brings 3D printing calculation to WordPress and WooCommerce and connects the resulting workflow to Printa Platform. Add Printa Calculate to a WordPress page with the [printa_calculate] shortcode. Customers can upload and configure a 3D model, receive a calculated price and continue directly to your existing WooCommerce checkout. From 3D model to WooCommerce checkout Printa Calculate can:

• Embed Printa Calculate directly on a WordPress page.
• Let customers upload and configure 3D models.
• Calculate the order price using your Printa Calculate configuration.
• Receive a verified checkout handoff from Printa Calculate.
• Create and use a WooCommerce product for the calculated 3D printing order.
• Apply the calculated price to the WooCommerce cart.
• Use the store's existing WooCommerce checkout and payment methods.
• Store relevant Printa Calculate information with the WooCommerce order.
• Synchronize relevant order and payment information with Printa Platform.

More than a calculator - Printa Portal Printa Calculate is part of Printa Platform. Your Printa account also gives you access to Printa Portal, a central workspace for managing your 3D printing workflow. Printa Portal brings the workflow together beyond the WordPress checkout. Depending on the features available for your Printa account, Portal provides tools for:

• Orders and production workflow.
• Customer requests.
• Quotes.
• Invoicing.
• Printa Calculate configuration.
• Company settings.
• Users and access.
• License and Printa Credits management.

This means Printa Calculate does not have to end when the customer reaches WooCommerce. Printa Platform can connect the customer-facing calculation with the administrative and production workflow behind it. Coming soon - Printa AI Printa Platform is continuing to grow beyond calculation, order management and production. Printa AI is an upcoming set of intelligent tools designed specifically for 3D printing workflows. Planned Printa AI capabilities include tools for model analysis, repair and optimization, with additional AI-powered functionality being developed for Printa Platform. Printa AI features will use Printa Credits, giving businesses a flexible way to access AI-powered tools when they need them. Printa AI is currently in development. Features, availability and credit requirements may change before release. A Printa Platform account and valid Printa Calculate configuration are required to use the service. 1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Install Printa Calculate through the WordPress plugin installer, or upload the printa-calculate plugin directory to /wp-content/plugins/.
3. Activate Printa Calculate. The Printa Calculate setup page opens automatically.
4. Start your Printa account setup from the plugin. New accounts can try Professional free for 3 days with no payment or card details required.
5. Complete the setup guide in Printa Portal and configure your company, printers, materials, pricing, delivery options and checkout.
6. When setup is complete, choose "Finish". Printa securely connects the originating WordPress site automatically and returns you to WordPress.
7. Add the shortcode [printa_calculate] to the WordPress page where the calculator should appear.
8. Run a complete calculation and test the checkout flow configured in Printa Portal before making the page public.

The fields under Printa Calculate > Settings remain available for manual configuration or troubleshooting when needed.
