Learn more about Pro Privacy and Data Handling OpenAI API: When using your own API key, user queries and selected content are sent to OpenAI to generate responses. During the free trial, queries are routed through a Promptor-managed proxy that uses OpenAI on your behalf. Review OpenAI's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Telemetry (Optional): The free version includes optional anonymous telemetry to help improve the plugin. It is disabled by default and requires explicit opt-in. Automatic Installation (Recommended)

1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard

2.0.1 Fixed: chat answers could appear as raw code

• Fixed: when the assistant was powered through the WordPress AI Client, answers could appear in the chat as a block of raw code instead of a readable reply, and no service or product recommendations were shown. Answers now read normally whichever AI provider your site uses.
• Improved: Promptor now asks the WordPress AI Client for a structured reply directly, and falls back automatically when a provider does not offer that — so the chat keeps working either way.
• Improved: if a reply is ever cut short or cannot be read, the chat now shows a readable message instead of technical output.
