ProofCanvas turns your WordPress site into a private proofing portal. Every client gets their own password-protected page with their proofs. They zoom in to check the details, then press Approve or write exactly what to change. You get an email, and every request is saved with the proof it belongs to. No accounts for your clients, no third-party portal, and no per-client fees. It all runs on your own site. Built for designers who send a lot of proofs

Unlimited clients and proofs. Create a client page in one step: type a name and ProofCanvas makes the page and a password, ready to share.
Share card. Copy the private link and password, or a ready-to-send invite message.
Approve or request changes on every proof. Each proof shows a clear status: Awaiting review, Changes requested, Revised or Approved.
Revision notes. Tell the client what changed in this round, right on the proof.
Deep zoom. A full-screen viewer with scroll, pinch and drag zoom, so clients can check fine print and barcodes before they sign off.
Email alerts when a client approves or asks for changes, and a Requests screen that lists everything still open.
Works on phones and tablets.

Private by default

One unguessable private link per client, with an optional password.
Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies.
Lockout after repeated wrong passwords, plus an access log of every attempt.
Client pages are never cached and are hidden from search engines and sitemaps.

ProofCanvas Pro ProofCanvas Pro adds:

3D models: GLB, glTF, OBJ and STL in an interactive viewer with true-to-design colors.
Box from Dieline (beta): upload a flat box dieline and ProofCanvas folds it into a 3D box your client can spin. Tuck-end cartons, lid and tray boxes, label sets, plus tubes and cylinders from the same sheet.
Branding: your logo and accent color on every client page.
Private file storage: proof files are moved out of the public uploads folder and only served to the right client.

In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, search for ProofCanvas, then click Install Now and Activate.
Open ProofCanvas in the admin menu.
On the Clients tab click New Client, type the client's name and click Create Client Page.
On the Proofs tab click Add Proof, choose the client, add your image and save.
Send the client their link and password from the share card.

New: Download link on a proof. Paste any link (Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, your site) and your client sees a Download button on that proof.
Improved (Pro): Truer, brighter colors in the 3D preview. Lighting is calibrated so faces turned toward the viewer show the file's real colors, with less gloss and no tone curve, while the box keeps its shading.

New: Deleting a proof also deletes its image from the Media Library (and deleting a client deletes their proofs' images), unless another proof, a post or your branding still uses it.
Fixed: Clients could see an old copy of a proof after it was replaced. Image addresses now change whenever the file changes, and the client's page is cleared from page caches (SiteGround, WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed, WP Super Cache) when a proof is saved.

Improved (Pro): Box from Dieline auto-detect now handles dielines where each panel sits on a solid colored background block (yellow, blue, any flat color). The background is trimmed off and the real panel shape inside is found, so trapezoid walls fold as trapezoids instead of square labels.

Stamped on the server into every image your clients see (proof images, thumbnails, 3D boxes and labels); your original files are never changed and you always see them clean. New (Pro): Shaped panels for Custom boxes. Any panel can be Angled / curved: drag its corners anywhere and bend any edge; panels can have up to 16 corners (like a face with a V-shaped top and a pointed chin). Panels are cut to their shape in 3D and fold along their real, slanted edges.
New (Pro): Auto-detect for boxes printed as separate pieces (flared trays, arched boxes): each piece's real outline is traced, glue tabs are left off, and the pieces are joined where their edges match. Walls between flared walls lean in to meet them, and a strip on a curved edge (the band over an arched top) bends along it in 3D.
Fixed (Pro): "Clear all" on a Custom box now stays cleared after saving.
Improved (Pro): "BETA" tag on the Cylinder / Tube proof type.

New (Pro): Tapered (cup / cone) labels - a fan-shaped wrap label is found automatically and wrapped onto a cone in 3D, sized from its own shape. Drag its four corners at any angle and its two bend points to fine-tune, or switch any label between Straight and Tapered.
New (Pro): full cones (ice cream cone labels that come to a point), and sheets with several cones: each becomes its own cone, and each round lid goes on the cone printed next to it.
New (Pro): counter display boxes - a floor with sloped side walls, a back wall with header and a front lip are detected and stand on their floor in 3D, printed side facing the customer. "The base is the floor" option for Custom boxes.
New (Pro): a sheet with a box and its cones / cups builds both: the cones and lids are added with the box, and stand inside a display box. A Cylinder proof of such a sheet switches to Box from Dieline.
Improved (Pro): round labels on a sheet are recognised as lids; up to 12 labels and lids per proof.

Fixed (Pro): label sets with bands of colour between the side labels (bleed or separators) were detected as a carton. They now detect as a label set with every side.
Improved (Pro): Custom boxes - panel edges snap onto their neighbours when you draw or move them, panels a little apart (up to about 2% of the sheet) still join, the base is the best-connected panel until you pick one, and a panel printed apart that is the size of the box opening (like a label set's top label) goes on top automatically.
Fixed (Pro): Custom box panels printed with a gap (bleed band) between them folded with that gap, leaving notches or a wall sticking out at the corners. Joined panels now fold from exactly the fold line.
Improved (Pro): panels that are not joined are flagged in red on the dieline, and the 3D preview says so instead of showing a row of flat pieces.
Fixed (Pro): clicking a drawing tool while the full-size dieline is still loading did nothing. The tool now starts as soon as the dieline is ready.

New (Pro): Clear all in Box Setup wipes everything drawn on the dieline (fold lines, lids, labels, windows, pieces) so you can draw your own panels; Auto-detect starts over from a cleared box.
Fixed (Pro): dragging a fold line or wall edge no longer moves or resizes the top and bottom lids. Lids stay where they are until you move them (choosing another panel in the lid menu still places them fresh).

Draw every panel and flap; panels that touch on the die join along their longest shared edge, and pieces printed apart (like label sets) can be joined by hand on any edge. Each panel folds by its own angle (90° square, 60° hexagon, 180° tucked flat), can be hidden (glue tabs) or kept as a separate piece, and the sheet background around shaped flaps is cut away on white or black sheets. Detected cartons, lid boxes and label sets convert to Custom with one click.
New (Pro): draw label-set labels yourself. With Box style Labels (square / cake box), click Draw labels yourself and drag around each side in order and then the top, or use Redraw one to redo a single label.
Fixed (Pro): label strips whose side labels share continuous artwork (no visible seam) were split in the wrong places. The top label now sets the side widths, with the wide front label first.

New (Pro): gift-box tops. When every wall has its own top flap (heart-lock and similar gift boxes), the 3D box folds all four flaps in and stands the top shapes up, with the paper around them cut away. Choose it as Top lid: All 4 panels (gift top), and drag the two pink lines to fine-tune.
New (Pro): Closed base (lock bottom) for boxes with a flap on every wall.
Improved (Pro): window auto-detect also finds white windows, ignores dimension lines drawn across a window, and no longer mistakes outlined shapes in the background colour for windows.

Auto-detect (and the new Find windows button) finds die-cut windows on carton and lid box dielines: closed cut lines, see-through areas in PNGs, and solid black window slots like those on artillery boxes.
