Qalyze Website Scanner runs a scan of your site and shows the results right inside your WordPress dashboard, no need to log in anywhere else. Scan on demand with one click, or opt in to automatic scanning (monthly free, weekly premium).
Free features:

- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/qalyze-scanner, or install directly through the WordPress plugins screen. - Activate the plugin.
- (Optional) Go to the new Qalyze Scanner menu item and paste your API key to unlock premium features.
- Click "Scan now" on the dashboard widget or settings page to run your first scan, or turn on automatic scanning in the Qalyze Scanner menu.

No. The free tier works immediately after activation, no account needed.
How do I get an API key?
Sign up for Qalyze Monitoring or Agency at qalyze.de/pricing, then find your API key in your dashboard under "WordPress Plugin". Already subscribed? Sign in at qalyze.de/monitoring/login.
What data does this plugin send to Qalyze?
Only your site's public homepage URL. Qalyze scans it the same way a visitor's browser would, nothing from your WordPress installation itself (files, database, users) is transmitted. Automatic scanning is off until you explicitly turn it on in the Qalyze Scanner menu; triggering a scan with the "Scan now" button is its own explicit action.
Why does my score stay the same for weeks?
Free-tier scans run monthly. Upgrade to Monitoring or Agency for weekly scans.

- Changed: updated the check-count figure shown in this description and privacy section (now 250+) to reflect a real, traceable count of the scanner's checks, including the WCAG accessibility rule set, instead of an older estimate.
- Fixed: if qalyze.de couldn't be reached while saving your API key (a temporary connection problem, not an invalid key), the plugin previously downgraded your site to free tier and cleared any agency branding anyway. It now leaves your premium status and branding untouched on a connection failure and asks you to save again to confirm.
- Fixed: Plugin URI and Author URI were identical, which WordPress.org's submission check rejects. Plugin URI now points to the plugin's own section on qalyze.de instead of the site root.
- Fixed: the admin menu icon could render hugely oversized and clipped into neighbouring menu rows on some sites, since sizing a plain image icon correctly depends on wp-admin CSS that isn't guaranteed everywhere. Now uses WordPress's dedicated SVG menu-icon method, which sizes reliably in every setup.
