Quote3D for WooCommerce puts a 3D printing configurator on your product pages. A shopper uploads a model, picks the technology, material, colour and quantity, and sees the price at once. The quoted part goes into the WooCommerce cart at exactly that price and is paid with your usual checkout.
Prices are calculated by Quote3D, a slicing and pricing service for FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF and SLM printing. You set up your printers, materials, colours and prices in Quote3D, or from the plugin's Catalogue page.
In the shop
- Configurator on any product page (tick "Quote3D configurator") or anywhere with the
[quote3d_widget]shortcode. - The price is read again from Quote3D on your server when a part is added to the cart, so it cannot be changed in the browser.
- The quoted quantity is locked in the classic cart and in the Cart and Checkout blocks.
- A colour that ran out of stock cannot be ordered.
- Overview: quotes, carts, orders and revenue for any period, plus the health of the connection.
- Quotes: every quote a shopper added to a cart, and whether it was ordered.
- Production: a print queue of sold parts with print settings, model downloads and "mark printed".
- Catalogue: printers, materials, colours, colour stock and prices, saved in Quote3D.
- Reports and CSV export.
- WooCommerce 6.0 or later.
- A Quote3D account. A free plan is available; paid plans raise the monthly quote, storage and technology limits. See pricing. The plugin contains all of its code; the limits are applied by the Quote3D service.

- Install and activate WooCommerce, then this plugin.
- The setup wizard opens: create a free Quote3D account (or sign in), paste your widget token and server token, and choose the cart product quotes are added as.
- Open a product and tick "Quote3D configurator", or put
[quote3d_widget]on any page.

Do I need a Quote3D account?
Yes. Quote3D slices the model and calculates the price. There is a free plan.
Which currency is used?
Your WooCommerce store currency. Set the same currency in Quote3D (Catalogue › Pricing); a quote in another currency is not added to the cart.
What about tax?
Leave the Quote3D tax rate at 0 and let WooCommerce add tax, or enter WooCommerce prices inclusive of tax. The plugin refuses to add a quote that would be taxed twice and says why on the Overview page.
Where are the uploaded files stored?
On Quote3D, under your account. You can download them from the Production page and have them deleted after delivery.
Does it work with the Cart and Checkout blocks and HPOS?
Yes, both.
In which languages is the plugin available?
English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese are included. The admin pages follow your WordPress language; the configurator's language is chosen in Quote3D › Settings. More languages can be added on translate.wordpress.org.

- Usage warnings now appear only on WooCommerce screens and link to the plugin's overview page.
- A cancelled quote that is ordered again is taken out of stock again and goes back into the print queue.
- The admin pages no longer need WordPress's script loader to reach the plugin's REST routes (shared with the other Quote3D store modules).
- The same quote can no longer be ordered twice; a paid quote left in another cart is removed at checkout.
- Quotes that already include Quote3D tax are refused when WooCommerce would add tax again.

- Stock changes and file deletions whose background job was lost are picked up again; stock calls are split into batches of 100.
- A file shared with a cancelled or abandoned order no longer blocks its deletion.
- Production: searching by the displayed order number works with sequential order number plugins; a deleted order no longer breaks the Orders view.
- Security: the Quote3D address must use https; repeated webhook deliveries are handled once; unknown quote IDs from one address are rate limited.
- Admin notices can be dismissed and only appear on the Dashboard, Plugins and WooCommerce screens.
- Personal data export, suggested privacy policy text and full clean-up when the plugin is deleted.
- Logs go to WooCommerce › Status › Logs (source "quote3d").
- Translations use WordPress's gettext: the admin pages follow your WordPress language; the configurator's language is chosen in the settings.
- Unlimited plans no longer show "0 left" under the usage rings.
- Updates now come from WordPress.org.
- Quote3D menu with Overview, Quotes, Production, Catalogue, Reports and a setup wizard.
- Colour stock, catalogue management and model file clean-up.
