RankCycle SEO Connector

RankCycle (https://rankcycle.ai) is an AI SEO platform that reads your Search Console, finds the pages leaking clicks — titles that under-perform their position, decaying posts, pages competing with each other for one query — fixes them with your approval, and then proves it: every applied change is measured for 28 days against pages it didn't touch, losses are printed next to wins, and anything that measurably lost is reverted automatically. The free audit shows your ranked queue of proposed fixes and includes one applied fix, measured at day 28, at no cost — no credit card, no trial clock. This plugin is the narrow, auditable connection RankCycle uses to apply approved work to your WordPress site. It exists so you never hand over a WordPress password. The plugin can:

• Confirm the RankCycle connection.
• Find a WordPress post from a page URL.
• Update a post title or meta description when RankCycle has an approved change.
• Create a WordPress draft.
• Create or update a post when publishing has been explicitly enabled.
• Upload featured and in-body images generated by RankCycle.
• Keep Rank Math, Yoast, and AIOSEO title and description fields synchronized when present.

The plugin cannot delete posts, manage WordPress users, read passwords, or grant RankCycle access to other WordPress data. RankCycle stores the previous values for applied changes so they can be rolled back from the RankCycle dashboard.

1. Create or sign in to your RankCycle account at https://rankcycle.ai/.
2. In RankCycle, open Settings > API keys and create an API key.
3. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New and search for "RankCycle SEO Connector", then install and activate it. (A downloaded zip installs the same way through Upload Plugin.)
4. Open Settings > RankCycle, paste the API key, and click Connect.
5. Return to RankCycle and check the WordPress connection status.

The API key is used during the connection handshake and is not stored by this plugin. The plugin stores its own site-specific connection secret in WordPress options. To disconnect, deactivate or delete the plugin and remove the connection from RankCycle.

• Added optional conversion measurement. A small first-party script, served from your own site, counts page views and conversions (form submissions, email and phone link clicks, clicks to checkout) so RankCycle can measure whether a change earned you leads and not only clicks. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and records no identifier of any kind - only per-page daily counts. It is off until you switch it on in RankCycle, and views by logged-in editors are never counted.
• Added support for RankCycle call-to-action blocks: an approved block is inserted into a post body with its own marker, so removing it takes out exactly what was added and nothing you have written since.
