ReviewCourier for WooCommerce helps you invite customers to leave a review after an eligible WooCommerce order is completed. It uses your store's existing WooCommerce and WordPress email delivery and a merchant-supplied Custom URL review destination. Automatic requests are sent 14 days after an eligible Completed order. Automation is off by default, and enabling it affects future Completed orders only: ReviewCourier does not backfill historical orders. You can customise, preview and test the review-request email, review request history and status information, and use Manual Send where the current order remains eligible. ReviewCourier rechecks current order safety before sending. Cancelled and fully refunded orders are not sent review requests; a partial refund alone does not necessarily prevent a request. Customers can use the signed Stop review requests flow, and ReviewCourier integrates with WordPress privacy tools and bounded retention controls. ReviewCourier is a standalone Free plugin. It has no telemetry, no ReviewCourier account requirement and no external ReviewCourier service dependency. Customer email is sent through your existing WooCommerce/WordPress mail path, and review links lead only to the destination you configure.

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce 10.8 or later.
  2. Install and activate ReviewCourier for WooCommerce.
  3. Open ReviewCourier in your WordPress admin area.
  4. Configure a Custom URL review destination.
  5. Customise, preview and test the review-request email.
  6. Enable automatic requests only when you are ready.
Automatic review requests are off on a fresh installation and remain off until required setup is valid. Enabling automation affects future Completed orders only; ReviewCourier does not backfill historical orders. Network-wide Multisite administration is not supported.

When are automatic review requests sent?

For eligible orders, ReviewCourier schedules one automatic review request for 14 days after the order becomes Completed.

Does activation send emails for old orders?

No. Automation affects future Completed orders only and does not backfill historical orders.

Is automation enabled by default?

No. Automatic requests are off on a fresh installation and cannot remain enabled until required setup is complete.

Can I send a request manually?

Yes. Where the current order passes ReviewCourier's safety checks, authorised WooCommerce managers can use Manual Send from the order screen.

Which review destinations are supported?

ReviewCourier supports a merchant-supplied Custom URL review destination.

Does ReviewCourier send through its own mail server?

No. It uses your existing WooCommerce and WordPress email delivery path. A successful local handoff does not itself guarantee mailbox delivery.

Can a customer stop ReviewCourier requests?

Yes. Production review-request emails include a signed Stop review requests flow. This preference applies to ReviewCourier review requests only.

What happens when the plugin is removed?

By default, ReviewCourier preserves its data when removed. If you explicitly enable its delete-data option, ReviewCourier removes its own tables and options. It also makes bounded best-effort cleanup of its non-PII order guards through WooCommerce; remaining non-PII guards are safer than direct order-storage access or an uninstall timeout.
