Ronda Afiliados

Ronda connects online stores with influencers. This plugin connects WooCommerce to the Ronda service and records the order information required to calculate affiliate commissions. The connector is free. A brand account at Ronda is required. Ronda's affiliate service is billed separately under the commercial agreement with the brand. Installing this plugin does not subscribe you to a paid plan or initiate a charge. What it does

• Links your store to Ronda through WooCommerce's standard read-only authorization screen. No API keys to copy, code editing or webhook configuration.
• Records a first-party affiliate reference for 24 hours after a visitor follows a Ronda link.
• Associates that reference when checkout is submitted, in both classic checkout and Checkout Blocks. A cart or draft is not a completed checkout.
• Synchronizes payment confirmation, cancellations and refunds from WooCommerce's existing order tools. The plugin does not add a delivery or return-review control.
• Supports High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
• Provides authenticated diagnostics so Ronda can verify setup automatically.

Catalog import, sales synchronization, commissions, offers and payments are managed in Ronda. The plugin does not modify prices, collect payments, pay influencers, add storefront branding or load remote JavaScript. External service and data Service: Ronda, https://afiliadosronda.com. No outbound request or affiliate tracking starts solely by installing or activating this plugin. The store manager explicitly clicks Connect with Ronda (Conectar con Ronda), which enables local tracking and opens Ronda with the public store URL. The manager then signs in or creates a brand account and approves WooCommerce's read-only authorization. WooCommerce sends the generated read-only credentials directly to Ronda's callback over HTTPS. Once authorized, Ronda periodically reads catalog products and variants, identifiers, product images and URLs, prices, availability, currency, order/line identifiers, discounted amounts, taxes, checkout/payment dates, payment status, cancellations, refunds and affiliate references. Ronda requests only these order fields; it does not request buyer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or payment card details through this connector. WooCommerce's native API key grants read-only access; its scope is not a per-field permission. The plugin's protected diagnostics endpoint returns its version, public store URL and setup status to an authenticated WooCommerce manager or read-only API key. Its public compatibility endpoint exposes only version, protocol and attribution-window metadata. Privacy policy Data processing agreement Service and brand registration Cookies and consent The plugin uses the first-party cookies ronda_affiliate (HttpOnly) and ronda_affiliate_client (cached pages). They contain an opaque affiliate reference and timestamps, expire after 24 hours, and use Secure and SameSite=Lax. A direct visit does not extend the window. Ronda independently verifies the reference signature, store and checkout time; browser data alone is not proof of a commission. When WP Consent API is present, the plugin respects its marketing category. When it is absent, the store must configure its consent policy as appropriate before enabling tracking. The plugin does not supply a consent banner or guarantee legal compliance. Suggested policy text is added to WordPress's Privacy Policy Guide. Local attribution references are included in WooCommerce's personal-data export and removed when WooCommerce erases an order's personal data. Contact Ronda to coordinate a request concerning records already held by the service. Ronda's retention policy is described at the privacy-policy link above. Disabling and uninstalling Disable tracking in WooCommerce → Ronda to stop recording new references on checkout. Deactivation also stops the plugin's hooks. Cached storefront HTML may continue to include its local script until the cache is cleared, but checkout will not associate new references while the connector is disabled. Existing browser cookies expire within 24 hours. To revoke Ronda's read access as well, revoke its key in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API. Uninstall removes the connector setting only when the last installed Ronda Afiliados copy is removed, and retains order metadata needed for reconciliation. When replacing a privately installed copy with the directory version, first update the existing private copy to 1.2.0 as well; updating only the directory copy does not update the private copy. Then remove the private copy. This does not erase records already held by Ronda. Existing order metadata can be processed by WooCommerce's privacy tools before uninstalling.

1. Install and activate Ronda Afiliados with WooCommerce active. The public store must use HTTPS.
2. Open WooCommerce → Ronda and select Conectar con Ronda.
3. Sign in to your Ronda brand account (or create one). Confirm the store and approve WooCommerce's read-only access.
4. Ronda imports your catalog and verifies the connector automatically. Publish your offers in Ronda when it is ready.

If your store is already authorized in Ronda, use Conectar con Ronda in WordPress to verify the plugin without generating another API key.
