Upload the rt-chat-analytics folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate RT Chat Analytics from the Plugins screen in WordPress.
Open Chat Analytics from the WordPress admin menu.
Review the privacy, consent, tracking, and integration settings.
Enable and configure only the third-party integrations you need.

Why are my click statistics empty when I test as an administrator?

If Ignore Admin Users is enabled, administrator visits are excluded from tracking. Test while logged out or in a private browser window, or disable Ignore Admin Users in the plugin settings.

Will internal redirect links be tracked?

Supported same-origin internal links can be detected when they redirect to a supported chat destination.

Do I need to configure custom link patterns?

No. Custom link patterns are optional and are intended for special redirect configurations where automatic destination detection is not sufficient. Add one pattern per line.

How is the destination phone number detected?

For supported links, the plugin can extract a destination number from the resolved URL or supported data attributes. The available information is stored with the applicable analytics event.

Does the plugin send analytics data to Rattb?

No. Core analytics data is stored locally in the site's WordPress database. Data may be transmitted to third-party services only when the site administrator enables and configures an applicable integration.

Does the plugin require an external service?

No. Core analytics functionality runs locally on the WordPress website. Third-party integrations are optional.

Are third-party integrations enabled automatically?

How does Auto Detect work?

Auto Detect is an administrator-initiated feature that scans supported website pages for tracking identifiers already present on the website. Detected identifiers are placed in the relevant integration fields for review. Auto Detect does not enable integrations automatically.

Auto Detect does not enable third-party integrations by itself. It is used to identify supported tracking identifiers already present on website pages and populate the relevant plugin settings for administrator review.
