Automatically fetch and display your Scholar publications in a clean, responsive card layout—newest first—with optional abstract support.
A lightweight WordPress plugin that:
- Highlights your latest publication with title, authors, journal, year, and abstract.
- Displays the next four works in equally sized, responsive cards.
- Includes a "Read More" button linking back to your Scholar profile.
- Supports decorative vine ornaments or custom PNG background overlays.
- Offers dark-mode & light-mode styling with customizable CSS.
- Requires no API keys or external dependencies; uses core PHP DOM and WordPress HTTP API.

- Upload the
scholar-publications-fetcherfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate Scholar Publications Fetcher in the Plugins menu.
- Use the shortcode in any page or post:

Can I display more publications?
Yes. By default the plugin shows 5 items (1 main + 4 cards). You can extend the secondary cards by filtering the shortcode behavior in your theme or via a custom attribute in a future update.
How do I change the design or colors?
Override or edit the css/gs-styles.css file in the plugin directory, or enqueue your own stylesheet in your child theme with higher specificity.
Do I need an API key?
No. The plugin scrapes your public Google Scholar page directly; no authentication or keys required.
