Does this replace Google Analytics?

No. Scinorx Click Tracker is a simple WordPress dashboard tool for tracking important website clicks. It can be used alongside analytics platforms.

Does it track phone and email links automatically?

Yes. Phone and email tracking are enabled by default and can be turned off in plugin settings.

Do I need to manually tag every link?

No. Automatic tracking is enabled by default. The plugin reads link text, title, or aria-label values and generates tracking tags for you.

Can I still use custom tags?

Yes. Developers can optionally use data-scxct-click-tag, but this is not required for normal use.

Does the plugin store personal data?

The plugin stores click event details such as target URL, source URL, label, tracking tag, click type, and date. It does not store visitor IP addresses and does not send click data to Scinorx. Site owners should review their privacy policy and disclose click tracking where required.
