Does this plugin get my content into Google Discover?
No. It checks several practical technical items and enables large-image preview permission. Google determines whether content appears in Discover.
Does Google require max-image-preview:large for Discover eligibility?
No. Google says indexed content that complies with Discover policies is automatically eligible. The directive permits Google to use large image previews where appropriate.
What image size does the plugin check?
The plugin flags the featured image when it is less than 1,200 pixels wide and when it contains 300,000 total pixels or fewer.
Do I have to save a draft before the featured-image check updates?
No when using the WordPress block editor. Version 1.2.0 watches the editor state and refreshes the featured-image check when an image is added, replaced, or removed. It also updates the publish-status indicator live.
Does the plugin modify my database?
No. The plugin does not create database tables, store settings, add post meta, or write its own data to the WordPress database.
Will this conflict with my SEO plugin?
The plugin uses WordPress' native wp_robots filter so the large-image-preview directive is merged into the existing robots meta output instead of deliberately printing a second robots tag.
