安装:
- In WordPress, go to "Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin" and select the plugin ZIP file.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open "Seitenwacht" in the WordPress administration menu.
- Click "Basischeck jetzt starten" to run the first check.
- Optional: click "Mit Seitenwacht verbinden" and approve the matching website in your Seitenwacht customer account.

Does the plugin send my results to Seitenwacht?
The local check runs inside your own WordPress installation and stores its result there. Nothing is sent automatically. Only if an administrator deliberately connects an active Seitenwacht package does the plugin exchange the website URL and plugin version and load the paid monitoring status for this one website.
Do I need a Seitenwacht account?
No. Every local plugin feature is available without an account or payment information.
Does the plugin test contact forms?
No. The plugin does not submit forms. Active form testing is part of the separately available Seitenwacht monitoring service.
Does the check change my website?
No. The check reads technical settings and requests the website's own public homepage.
Does the plugin verify that my privacy policy is legally complete?
No. It only checks whether WordPress has a published page assigned as its privacy policy page. It does not provide a legal assessment.
Why can the score decrease after an update?
The score summarises the currently checked basics. Newly available WordPress, plugin, or theme updates can therefore appear as items that need attention.
