This plugin allows you to show off the top rated shortfilms from our shortfundly filmmakers creative platform and display them on your WordPress site. You can use a widget to display our latest interesting most viewed shortfilms in a header, sidebar or footer or use a shortcode to display most viewed shortfilms in the main content are for a post or page.
This is the official shortfilm plugin for shortfundly to enable filmmakers creative short films to reach next level of audience.
There are a few options for installing and setting up this plugin.
Upload Manually
- Download and unzip the plugin
- Upload the 'shortfundly-plugin' folder into the '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
- Go to the Plugins admin page and activate the plugin
Install Via Admin Area
- In the admin area go to Plugins > Add New and search for "Shortfundly Plugin"
- Click install and then click activate
To Setup The Plugin
- Get your shortfundly X-API-Key (see instructions under FAQ).
- In the WordPress admin area go to Settings > Top Rated films and then enter in your X-API-Key.
How to Use the Widget
- Setup the Plugin (refer to above)
- Go to Appearance > Widgets and drag the 'Shortfundly shortfilms Widget' to your sidebar.
- Enter in a Title to appear above the shortfilms. For example "Top-rated shortfilms"
How to Use the Shortcode
- Navigate to the post or page you would like to add the badges to
- Enter in the shortcode [shortfundly-plugin]
- By default, 5 top rated shortfilms are displayed.
- You can navigate through more shortfilms by clicking '>' or '<' buttons below the films in the website.
