  1. Search for "SilverStream Invoicing" in WordPress → Plugins → Add New, or upload the zip file
  2. Activate the plugin
  3. Go to SilverStream Invoicing → Settings and enter your business details
  4. Add clients under SilverStream Invoicing → Clients
  5. Create your first invoice under SilverStream Invoicing → Invoices
  6. Download as PDF or upgrade to Pro to send by email

Does SilverStream Invoicing require WooCommerce or any other plugin?

No. SilverStream Invoicing is completely standalone.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored securely in your own WordPress database. No invoice data, client data or financial information is ever sent to external servers.

Does the free version expire?

No. The free version is free forever with 20 invoices and 40 quotes included.

How does PDF generation work?

SilverStream Invoicing renders a clean professional HTML invoice in the browser. Click Print / Save PDF and use your browser's built-in print-to-PDF. No external library required. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.

What currencies are supported?

Any currency. Set your preferred currency symbol in Settings. Works worldwide.

Does it support tax and VAT?

Yes. Set a default tax rate in Settings. Enable or disable per invoice and quote. Tax is shown as a separate line on all documents.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Purchase a licence at silverstreamdigital.co.za/invoicepenta, enter your key under SilverStream Invoicing → Licence and upgrade instantly. All existing data is preserved.

Can clients view their invoices online?

Yes, on the Business plan. Each client gets a unique secure link to view their invoices without needing a WordPress login.

Does it support recurring invoices?

Yes, on the Business plan. Set up automated recurring invoices on weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual schedules.
