详情介绍:

Smackcoders Pulse Analytics brings Google Analytics 4 into your WordPress admin, for blogs, business sites, and online stores alike. Instead of logging into a separate Google Analytics account and digging through menus that were never built for regular site owners, you connect your GA4 property once and your numbers show up where you already work. It is built for bloggers and publishers who want to see what content earns attention, business site owners who want a simple view of traffic and engagement, marketers who want to know which forms and links turn visitors into leads, affiliate marketers who need to know which partners get clicked, and WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads site owners who want analytics and store detection in the same place. This is a reporting plugin for Google Analytics 4, not a replacement for it. Your analytics numbers come from your own GA4 property, so you keep full ownership of your data and can still use Google Analytics whenever you need a deeper report. Universal Analytics is not supported. GA4 dashboard inside WordPress The Dashboard Overview is the home of the plugin. It runs on live GA4 data and shows, at a glance: Below the KPI cards, a traffic trend chart switches between Traffic, Engagement, and Referrals views. The Traffic view summarises sessions, engaged sessions, and key event rate above the chart, so you can see how your audience moves over time. Supporting widgets break your audience down further: A View selector in the toolbar opens full drill-down reports without leaving the dashboard: KPI cards and widgets can be dragged into the order you prefer, and your layout is saved in your browser. Reset Layout restores the default arrangement, and Sync Data refreshes cached report data on demand. Once you connect your Google account, your GA4 Property ID is shown in the toolbar. If your site has no store plugin, the dashboard runs in Website analytics mode. Traffic and engagement reports work in full, and store revenue widgets stay hidden until a store plugin is active. Global date picker One date picker in the admin header controls the range for the dashboard and the free reports. Choose Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, or set a Custom Range, and every widget, chart, and table follows the same period, so numbers always line up when you compare them. Forms Conversion report See how your forms perform, not only how many people submit them. Forms are tracked automatically on the public side of your site, with nothing to map and no code to add, and every form appears in one report: A Form Activity Trend chart lets you switch impressions, starts, and conversions on and off across your chosen dates, with a percentage change against the previous period in the tooltip. A forms table then lists each form with its own impressions, starts, conversions, and conversion rate. Click any row to open Form Details, which shows the form's numbers and the top pages where it performed. Because starts and conversions are reported separately, you can spot forms that people begin but abandon, and fix them where it matters. Supported forms include WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Formidable Forms, Ninja Forms, Forminator, Elementor forms, Divi forms, WooCommerce forms, WordPress comment forms, and generic HTML forms. Affiliate and outbound link tracking Affiliate and outbound clicks are classified and tracked automatically, with no manual link tagging. Once you tell the plugin how your affiliate links look, every matching click is recorded and sent to Google Analytics 4 as a structured event. The Affiliate Links report merges GA4 events with your site's own click data and turns them into numbers: affiliate clicks, outbound clicks, unique links, and your top partner, each compared with the previous period. Four tabs organise the detail: Downloadable link tracking File downloads are tracked automatically for the file types you choose. The default list covers pdf, zip, docx, xlsx, csv, txt, mp3, mp4, and epub, and you can edit it to match the files you actually offer. It suits lead magnets, brochures, price lists, podcasts, and any other download you want to measure. Audience & Links report The Audience & Links report brings link and audience activity into one overview, in three tabs: Link and download data is merged from Google Analytics 4 and your site's own click data for the date range you choose. If Google is not connected yet and no clicks have been recorded, the report shows clearly labelled sample data so you can preview the layout. Once you are connected, the tables show your real numbers, and they stay empty until visitors click. Demographic charts need Google Signals to be turned on in your GA4 property, plus enough traffic. Session and engagement tracking A lightweight session heartbeat records active sessions and time on page, which feeds the engagement numbers on your dashboard. Raw engagement telemetry is kept on your own site for the number of days you choose in Downloads & Link Paths, with 30 days as the recommended default, and a daily cleanup removes anything older automatically. Easy connection to Google Analytics 4 Everything you need to connect lives on one Analytics Configuration screen: Your client secret is stored encrypted in your database. A status panel on the same screen shows whether you are connected, along with your property ID and token status. Works for blogs, business sites, and stores Choose how the plugin treats your site: Auto-detect (recommended), Website or blog for traffic only, or Online store for commerce reports. The plugin detects WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, and GiveWP, and it lets you set your site timezone and reporting currency so daily numbers line up with your WordPress settings. A store plugin is only needed for revenue and order reports, which are part of Pro. Every other feature works on any WordPress site. Privacy controls You remain responsible for your own consent banner and privacy policy. Full EU compliance tooling is part of Pro. Moving from MonsterInsights If MonsterInsights is installed, or has left its settings behind, the plugin detects it and offers a one-click import of settings such as your GA4 Measurement ID and Property ID, so you do not have to start from scratch. Built for developers and agencies Pro features Everything above is free with no trial period and no feature that stops working after a set number of days. Smackcoders Pulse Analytics Pro is a separate, optional upgrade for sites that want deeper reports, commerce insights, and automation on top of this free foundation: None of this is required to use the free plugin well. It exists for sites that have outgrown the core dashboard. How it works

  2. Create a GA4 property and a Google Cloud OAuth client, if you do not have them yet

  4. Sign in with Google to authorize the connection

常见问题:

Do I need a Google Analytics account to use this plugin?

Yes. Create a free Google Analytics 4 property at analytics.google.com before connecting. Universal Analytics is not supported.

Do I need WooCommerce to use this plugin?

No. The dashboard, Forms Conversion, Affiliate Links, and Audience & Links reports work on any WordPress site. WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, and GiveWP are detected automatically, and revenue and order reports are available with Smackcoders Pulse Analytics Pro.

What is included in the free version, and what needs Pro?

Free includes the GA4 dashboard with its drill-down views, the global date picker, the Forms Conversion report, affiliate and outbound link tracking with the Affiliate Links report, downloadable link tracking, and the Audience & Links report. The dashboard also shows how many visitors are active right now. The full Real-Time Visitors report, revenue and store reports, Search Console, Ask AI, and the other tools listed under Pro features need Smackcoders Pulse Analytics Pro.

How do I connect the plugin to Google Analytics 4?

Open Settings, then Analytics Configuration, and enter your Measurement ID, Property ID, and Google OAuth Client ID and Client Secret. Add the Authorized Redirect URI shown on that page to your OAuth client in Google Cloud Console, save, and click Sign in with Google.

Why are my numbers zero or out of date?

The dashboard needs your Measurement ID, your Google sign-in, and your Property ID. Without the Google sign-in, tracking can work but the plugin cannot pull reports. After connecting, wait a few minutes and click Sync Data, and note that new GA4 properties, or new form tracking, can take 24 to 48 hours to show their first data.

Which form plugins are tracked?

WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Formidable Forms, Ninja Forms, Forminator, Elementor forms, Divi forms, WooCommerce forms, WordPress comment forms, and generic HTML forms are tracked automatically. Form views, starts, and submissions are sent to Google Analytics 4 and shown in the Forms Conversion report. For a clean row per form, register form_id, form_provider, and form_name as event-scoped custom dimensions in your GA4 property.

Does this plugin track affiliate and outbound links automatically?

Yes. Add your affiliate URL prefixes or affiliate domains under Affiliate Link Tracking, and every matching click is classified and reported without manual tagging. You can map domains to partner names and exclude domains, URL prefixes, or CSS selectors you do not want tracked.

Why is Audience & Links empty or showing sample data?

Sample data appears only when Google is not connected and no clicks have been recorded yet, so connect Google under Settings, then Analytics Configuration. If you are connected, the tables stay empty until visitors click. The Age and Gender charts also need Google Signals turned on in your GA4 property, plus enough traffic.

Is this plugin GDPR compatible?

Visitor IP addresses are anonymized automatically in frontend tracking, and link tracking can wait for cookie consent. You are still responsible for your own consent banner and privacy policy. Consent-gated tracking across the plugin, PII stripping, and a visitor opt-out are part of the Pro EU Compliance module.

Where is my data stored?

Your analytics numbers come from your own GA4 property. Some events, such as link clicks, are also cached in your WordPress database for faster report loading, and raw engagement telemetry is removed automatically after the retention period you choose. Your OAuth client secret is stored encrypted.
