Smart Bulk Content Remover gives you a powerful yet simple interface to clean up and maintain your WordPress site by removing unwanted content in bulk.
Whether you need to delete outdated posts, old pages, unused media files or spam comments, this plugin provides a safe and streamlined interface – no more manually deleting one by one.
What you can do
- Bulk delete Posts, Pages, Custom Post Types (Products, News, Books, etc.).
- Bulk delete Media files with statistics (total images, attached/unattached images and size).
- Bulk delete Comments across posts with status filters.
- Filter by Post Type, Status (published, draft, pending, spam, trash), Author and Date Range.
- Search by Title or Content.
- Filter Media by Date Range, Month, Year, or Author before deletion.
- Select individual items or use “Select All”.
- Choose between moving items to the Trash or permanent deletion (skip Trash).
- Non-destructive by default — you can restore items from Trash if needed.
- Separate admin pages for Pages, Posts, Media, and Comments (see screenshots).
- WordPress-native styling for an intuitive experience.
- Works automatically with WordPress core post types and any public custom post types.
安装:
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/smart-bulk-content-removerdirectory, or install it through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to Tools → Smart Bulk Content Remover (or the plugin’s menu) to access the interface.
- Choose the section (Pages, Posts, Media, Comments).
- Use the filters to select which content you want to remove and click the delete button.

常见问题:
Does this plugin permanently delete content?
By default, items are moved to the Trash. You can check the “Permanently delete” option to skip the Trash and remove content immediately.
Will it work with custom post types?
Yes. It automatically detects and lists all public custom post types registered on your site.
Can I filter media files by month or author?
Yes. The Media remover has additional filters for Date Range, Month, Year and Author.
Is there an undo option?
If you move content to the Trash, you can restore it from the WordPress Trash screen. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
