Minimum Requirements Manual Installation
  1. Upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins/smart-instalments-manager-for-woocommerce/.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins → Installed Plugins screen.
  3. Configure instalment settings from each product’s edit page.

Does this plugin require WooCommerce Subscriptions?

Yes. Smart Instalments Manager for Woocommerce is an extension of WooCommerce Subscriptions and relies on renewal orders generated by WC Subscriptions.

Where do add the Product full price?

Go to any product (simple or variable) and look for the "Product Full Price" field under the product data section. Enter the Full Price of Product.

Where do I set the number of instalments?

Go to any product (simple or variable) and look for the "Instalments Total" field under the product data section. Enter the total number of instalments (e.g., 6 for six monthly payments).

Does the plugin work with variable products?

Yes. Each variation can have its own instalment total.

Will instalment numbers update automatically?

Yes. Each time WooCommerce Subscriptions generates a renewal order, the plugin automatically calculates and assigns the correct instalment number.

Can customers see instalment information on the frontend?

Not yet. The current version displays instalment information inside the WooCommerce admin only, but frontend display will be included in a future update.

Does this plugin modify payment gateways?

No. It only tracks and labels instalment progress. Payments are still handled by WooCommerce Subscriptions and your chosen payment gateway.

Is this plugin safe and lightweight?

Yes. It uses native WooCommerce and WordPress functions and does not add unnecessary scripts or front-end assets.
