Social Media Blaster keeps your social media in step with your website. Every time you publish a post, the plugin automatically shares it to the business social accounts you own and have connected, so your audience sees new content everywhere, without manual cross-posting.
When you publish a post, the plugin securely notifies the
ABIE Syndicate service, which then publishes an update (your post's title, a short excerpt, and a link back to the article) to each social account you have connected. You stay in control: choose which networks a given post goes to, override the message per post, or opt a post out entirely.
What it does
- Automatic cross-posting. Publishing a post triggers a share to your connected social accounts, with no extra steps.
- You own the accounts. Connect your own business profiles, for example a company Facebook Page. Additional channels are being added.
- A single connections dashboard. See at a glance which networks are in use and working, which need attention, and which are not connected yet. Activate a network by entering its credentials, and update or rotate those credentials at any time.
- Per-post control. A box on the post editor lets you pick networks, set a custom message, or skip syndication for that post.
- An activity log per post shows exactly what was published where, with links to the live posts and clear error messages if something needs attention.
- Safe retries. A post is never accidentally published twice, even if your site retries the request.
How it works (and what you need)
This plugin is a secure client for the
ABIE Syndicate service operated by ABIE, LLC. The service performs the actual posting and holds the social-network credentials so they are
never stored on your WordPress site. To use the plugin you connect it to an ABIE Syndicate account (see the External Services section below). You enter each social account's credentials once in the plugin; they are transmitted over an authenticated, encrypted connection and stored encrypted on the ABIE server.
This separation means a compromise of your WordPress site does not expose your social-media tokens, and credential and API changes are handled centrally rather than on every site.
