Sticky Postbox is a piece of code written few years ago as exercise to learn how WordPress handles administration meta boxes's availables statuses (closed, hidden and sortings). This very lightweight plugin adds the sticky feature to administration meta boxes allowing them to be sticky at top right corner of the browser window. Only one meta box can be sticky at once, so a new sticky meta box unstick the current one (if there is one).

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/sticky-postbox directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
