By default, WordPress lets you make unlimited posts sticky, which can quickly clutter your homepage and make featured content harder to manage.
Sticky Posts Limit gives you full control by letting you define how many sticky posts you want to keep.
When the limit is exceeded:
- Only the most recent sticky posts are kept
- Older sticky posts are automatically unmarked 👉 No need to manually remove sticky status from old posts — the plugin handles everything for you automatically.

- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/ - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
- Go to Settings → Sticky Posts
- Set how many sticky posts you want to keep
- Click Save Changes
