Events Manager – Event Cancellation

Requires Events Manager (free plugin) to be installed & activated. If you ever need to cancel an event in Events Manager, it can be quite cumbersome to make sure you have done everything. This little add-on makes it extremely easy!

• Simply select the new post status "Cancelled". This works in the Edit Event Page as well as Quick Edit.
• The new event category "Event Cancelled" is set automatically.
• The booking form will be closed immediately, preventing new bookings.
• Ticket cut-off dates are set to the current timestamp.
• The email "Booking Rejected" will automatically be sent to current booking. Uses the mark-up in your Events Manager Booking Emails settings. Your event will still be publicly visible. The regular "Bookings are closed" message will be displayed instead of your booking form, exactly the same as if you closed them manually. The event itself is not deleted, because deleting an event will remove all bookings info and create 404 errors.

1. Download and activate this plugin in your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
2. That's it! There are no options to configure.
