StudioMeta Voice AI adds a natural, conversational voice and chat assistant to your WordPress site. Upload the studiometa-voice-ai folder to /wp-content/plugins/, OR install through the WordPress plugin browser
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
Click Start Free Trial in the admin notice to activate your free trial — you'll see the Voice AI menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar
Click Voice AI → My Agent to customize your assistant's name, voice, and knowledge base
The widget appears as a floating button on every page of your site (or use the shortcode [smva_widget] to place it manually)

Fixed: the call time limit set in Settings is now enforced exactly. Shorter limits were previously allowed to overrun

New: the voice list now comes from the StudioMeta AI Engine rather than being fixed in the plugin, so new voices appear without waiting for a plugin update. If the service cannot be reached, the built-in list is used instead

Fix: agent settings saved on a newly purchased licence were ignored during voice calls. The agent answered with the default name and voice no matter what had been configured, until the settings were saved a second time
Fix: when the voice service could not be reached, the widget showed a call in progress and then sat in silence. It now says so and ends the call
Fix: the sidebar showed "Trial Plan" for every site, including paid ones
Fix: cancelling one subscription could deactivate other licences registered to the same email address
Fix: changing plan through the billing portal had no effect on the site's quota
Improved: voice calls now have a maximum length, so a call left open in a background tab cannot quietly consume your monthly minutes

Fix: the agent's voice could break up during a call, and got steadily worse the longer the call ran. Playback was mistaking the ordinary join between two bursts of audio for a shortage of sound, and inserting a fraction of a second of silence to "recover" from it — then making that silence longer every time it happened again. Replies now play through continuously
New: voice calls keep a private diagnostic record of how smoothly audio arrived, so a call that breaks up can be examined afterwards instead of guessed at. It stays in your browser, is never sent anywhere, and holds only timings and sizes — no recordings and no conversation text

Fix: during a voice call the agent could go quiet right after asking for your name, phone number, or email and never speak again until you talked a second time. Collecting contact details left the voice detection in a state where it ignored your next words; the agent now stays responsive and can finish the conversation on its own
New: get an email the moment a visitor leaves their contact details, sent straight to your WordPress admin address — no external automation to set up. Turn it off, or send the alerts to a different address, under Widget settings. Only leads with a real email or phone number trigger a message, and each lead is emailed once

Fix: the agent's speech was being cut off and interrupted repeatedly during a call, leaving long pauses. The widget treated any brief sound above a very low level as the visitor interrupting — a cough, a keystroke, background noise, or the agent's own voice picked up by the microphone would all stop the reply mid-sentence, sometimes several times in a few seconds. Interrupting now requires sustained speech at a normal talking level, is ignored for a moment at the very start of a reply, and cannot fire repeatedly. Deliberately talking over the agent still works

Fix: training the agent on your website read only your home page on many sites. Sitemaps produced by All in One SEO could not be read at all, and sites whose sitemap is split into several files (common once you have more than a thousand posts) were not followed through to the actual pages. Training now reads up to 30 pages and favours the ones that describe your business — services, pricing, contact, booking — over the newest blog posts
Fix: training stopped early on sites that limit how quickly pages can be requested, silently missing most of the site. It now slows down and retries instead of giving up
Fix: only the top of each page was read, so anything further down — service areas, opening hours, the address and phone number in your footer — never reached the agent. Whole pages are now read, and text repeated on every page is stored once instead of once per page, which makes the knowledge base smaller and more accurate at the same time
Fix: pages listed in a sitemap but since deleted were stored as if they were real content, putting "page not found" text into the agent's knowledge base
Fix: sites behind a security firewall that blocks automated visitors returned no content at all; these are now read through a fallback reader
Fix: the agent's voice could break up once or twice just as it started speaking, then play normally. Playback began the moment the first fragment of audio arrived, leaving nothing in reserve, so a single late fragment was heard as a gap. The widget now waits for a short cushion of audio before starting, and widens that cushion automatically on connections where it proves too small
Improved: allowed more time for training to finish, so larger sites are no longer cut short

Improved: refreshed admin design — the plugin logo replaces the placeholder icon, all menu icons are now crisp line drawings that render identically on every operating system, and usage figures are easier to read at a glance
Privacy: the admin panel no longer downloads a font from a third-party server. Opening the plugin's admin pages previously sent a request — including your IP address — to an outside host on every page view. The panel now uses fonts already present on your computer, and no admin page view leaves your site
Improved: status and setup messages on the License screen are now clearly visible instead of plain unstyled text
Fix: if your agent used a newer voice this version did not recognise, the Settings screen displayed a different voice and saving would silently replace your real one; the configured voice is now always kept and shown
