tarteaucitron.io – Cookie Banner & GDPR Consent Management

tarteaucitron.io is a French consent management platform (CMP) that helps you manage cookies and third-party services on your WordPress website. Display a customizable cookie consent banner, let visitors accept or reject services, and manage their preferences from a dedicated consent panel. The plugin connects your WordPress website to the tarteaucitron.io Pro service, with automatic detection of supported services, an online configuration dashboard and consent statistics. A 7-day trial is available. A paid tarteaucitron.io license is required after the trial. Cookie consent management for GDPR / RGPD Give visitors control over the third-party services used on your website.

• Display a cookie banner and a consent preferences panel.
• Offer accept-all and reject-all buttons.
• Let visitors manage consent for individual services.
• Allow visitors to reopen the panel and change their preferences.
• Keep supported services requiring consent blocked until permission is granted when explicit consent is configured.

tarteaucitron.io helps you implement the consent controls needed for your GDPR compliance process. Your website's compliance also depends on its configuration, the services you use and the information you provide to visitors. Automatic detection of supported services Simplify installation with automatic detection of supported third-party services. Manage analytics, advertising and embedded content through tarteaucitron.io. Check your website after setup to confirm that the services you use are detected and behave correctly before and after consent. Automatic detection covers supported integrations. Custom scripts and unsupported integrations may require additional configuration. Google Consent Mode v2 tarteaucitron.io supports Google Consent Mode v2 to communicate visitors' consent choices to compatible Google tags. Configure consent settings for your Google integrations and verify their behavior with your analytics and advertising setup. Consent Mode complements consent collection: it does not replace the cookie banner or the need to configure your tags correctly. Customize your cookie banner Adapt the banner to your website from the tarteaucitron.io online dashboard.

• Customize banner and button colors.
• Edit the texts shown to visitors.
• Configure consent options and service settings.
• Preview your changes.

Accessibility settings Use a consent interface designed with accessibility in mind, with options for the panel's position in the document and a link to reopen consent preferences. When customizing the banner, maintain readable text, sufficient color contrast and usable controls. Consent statistics View consent statistics in your tarteaucitron.io dashboard to understand how visitors interact with your consent choices. Pro service and open-source library This WordPress plugin integrates the tarteaucitron.io Pro service. It is available with a 7-day trial and requires a paid license after that period. The tarteaucitron.js JavaScript library is also available separately as a free, open-source project for manual integration. Its availability does not make the Pro service included with this plugin free. Learn more about tarteaucitron.io
