Connecting alone changes nothing — checkout tax calculation stays off until you explicitly turn on "Enable tax calculations at checkout" in Settings. Once enabled, Taxually calculates and charges the correct tax instead of your existing WooCommerce tax setup.
Keep it, and only use Taxually for filing and registration — checkout tax calculation is opt-in and stays off unless you turn it on. If you'd rather have Taxually handle checkout tax too, disable your other tool's calculation first to avoid double taxation.
