Globe Visitors Counter (Lite) adds a lightweight, iframe-isolated visitor globe to your site. It’s a visual indicator users instantly understand.
- Privacy-friendly: no external trackers; simple JSON logs saved locally.
- Cache-friendly: viewer is served from uploads and isolated in an iframe to avoid theme/plugin conflicts.
- Accessible defaults: rotation can be tuned or disabled; reduced-motion setups work well.
- Shortcode-based: works in both Classic and Block editors.
- Land-Cover map style included. Additional styles and automatic header injection are available in the Premium versions.

When you place the shortcode on a page, it loads that HTML/JS bundle in an iframe and logs visits to a local JSON file. Nothing is sent to third-party analytics platforms.

安装:
- In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New and search Globe Visitors Counter, then Install → Activate,\ — or — upload the ZIP and activate.
- Create or edit a page or post where you want to show the globe.
- Add the shortcode
[visitors_globe_lite title="VISITORS" width="100%" height="600"]to the content. - Update the page and open it — the globe is served from
/wp-content/uploads/visitors-lite-landcover/index.html; visits are logged tovisitors.jsonin the same folder.
常见问题:
Does it collect personal data?
The Lite version stores a minimal JSON log locally in /wp-content/uploads/visitors-lite-landcover/visitors.json in order to draw the globe and aggregate visit counts. Data is not sent to external analytics services.
Is it compatible with caching/CDN?
Yes. The widget is iframe-isolated and plays well with common stacks (LiteSpeed/LSCache, WP Rocket, Autoptimize, Cloudflare). If you see issues with JS minify/defer, exclude the page with the globe from aggressive optimisation.
Shortcode or block?
The shortcode is the primary integration method. You can also wrap the shortcode in a block (Shortcode block / Paragraph in the Block editor).
