This plugin installs like any other WordPress plugin:
- Upload the video-grid folder to the wp-content/plugins folder (or install it from Plugins > Add New in your dashboard).
- Activate the plugin from the Dashboard / Plugins window.
- The plugin is now active — see the Usage section below.
- After activating, go to the Video Grid with Lightbox menu.
- Add your videos under Manage Videos (paste a YouTube, Vimeo or DailyMotion link — the thumbnail, title and description are fetched automatically).
- Configure your grid under Grid Settings, and preview it before publishing.
- Add the grid to a page or post using the Video Grid block, or the shortcode [print_responsive_video_grid]. To add it in a theme template, use: echo do_shortcode('[print_responsive_video_grid]');

How do I use it?
After activating, go to the Video Grid with Lightbox menu, add your videos under Manage Videos (just paste a video link), configure the grid under Grid Settings, then add it to a page or post using the Video Grid block or the [print_responsive_video_grid] shortcode. See the Installation and Usage sections above for details.
Which video sites does the free version support?
The free version supports YouTube, Vimeo and DailyMotion. The Pro version adds Metacafe and self-hosted HTML5 video.
Do I have to add videos one at a time?
In the free version, yes. Video Grid Pro can bulk-import an entire YouTube channel or playlist in one click.
Can I have more than one grid?
The free version includes one grid. Video Grid Pro supports unlimited grids, so you can show different videos on different pages.
Does it work with the block editor?
Yes. The free version includes a native Gutenberg block. Video Grid Pro adds an Elementor widget and a Divi module as well.
Will upgrading change how my existing grid looks?
No. The new modern grid and lightbox engines are opt-in — existing sites keep their current appearance until you choose to switch.
What does the Pro version add?
