/llms.txt with your summary, key pages and latest posts, with a preview. Off by default.vinvin-ai-visibility-tools folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install the plugin from the Plugins screen.No. Every feature is off until you turn it on: crawlers are set to "Leave as is", llms.txt is not published and no structured data is added.
Look for a physical robots.txt file in your site folder (next to wp-config.php). If it exists, the web server serves it and WordPress never builds a robots.txt: delete the file or copy the rules into it. The plugin shows a warning when it finds one. Some SEO or security plugins and CDNs also write or override robots.txt.
Check that "Publish llms.txt" is ticked and saved, that permalinks are not set to "Plain", and that no physical llms.txt file exists. If you just installed the plugin on a site with a caching plugin, clear its cache.
That is your choice, and the plugin does not make it for you. Blocking training crawlers asks companies not to use your pages to train their models. Blocking search and answer crawlers makes it harder for assistants to find and quote you.
Some hosts block a site from calling itself, and local or password-protected sites cannot be reached. The checks that need the home page are skipped and the score is worked out from the others.
Yes. They may also write a robots.txt, llms.txt or organization data. Use one source for each: the checklist shows what your site actually serves.
