Add your site as a Property in the Voicgen dashboard and copy the API key into Settings → Voicgen.
Choose a default voice.
Publish a post (or generate audio from the editor). The player appears automatically above or below the article — or wherever you place the [voicgen_player] shortcode.

Free plan and pricing The free plan needs no credit card and includes a monthly allowance of audio minutes plus watermarked vertical videos, so you can try both formats before paying anything. Paid plans (Starter, Publisher, Enterprise) add more audio and video minutes, remove the watermark, and unlock more voices and team features. Will it slow down my website?

No. Audio is generated and hosted in the Voicgen cloud, not on your server. The player script loads asynchronously and the player itself is style-isolated, so it doesn't fight your theme's CSS.

Where are the audio files stored?

In the Voicgen cloud. Nothing is added to your WordPress media library and no storage is used on your hosting.

Does the audio update when I edit a post?

Yes. When auto-generate is enabled, Voicgen regenerates audio after you change the title, content, or excerpt of a published post. You can also regenerate manually from the Voicgen Audio panel in the post editor. Edits that only change tags, categories, or the featured image do not trigger a new generation.

Which languages and voices are supported?
