It means that when a customer buys 3 or more units, the unit price becomes 8 in the store currency.
Can I use decimal prices?
Yes. Both decimal points and decimal commas are accepted in product rules.
How do variation rules work?
Each variation has its own quantity-discount rules. The displayed tiers update when the customer selects a variation.
Which rule does a variation use?
A variation uses its own direct rules when selected. If it has no direct rules, a matching category rule can apply; rules from the parent variable product are not inherited.
Can I translate the visible text without a translation plugin?
Yes. Go to WD Online > WDOnline Quantity Discounts for WooCommerce and change the text strings directly.
Can I translate the plugin with Loco Translate?
Yes. The plugin uses the wdonline-quantity-discounts-for-woocommerce text domain and includes a translation template in its languages directory. In Loco Translate, select Plugins > WDOnline Quantity Discounts for WooCommerce and create your language file in Loco Translate's recommended custom location.
Which placeholders can I use in the discount tier text?
Use {qty} for the minimum quantity and {price} for the formatted unit price.
Can I change the appearance of the quantity discount box?
Yes. Go to WD Online > WDOnline Quantity Discounts for WooCommerce and enable the frontend styling controls. You can choose Classic, Minimal, or Modern, or select Custom to configure colors, spacing, font sizes, tier markers, border radius, and box shadow.
Will updating change my existing design automatically?
No. Enhanced styling is disabled by default after updating, so existing stores keep the previous frontend appearance until styling is enabled.
Can savings be shown in the cart and checkout?
Yes. Under Display and pricing, choose whether to show the quantity-discount saving for each eligible item, show one combined saving in the totals, or hide savings. The setting is disabled by default.
