Rank+ - Website Accessibility adds a floating accessibility toolbar to your website so visitors can adapt the page to their needs — larger text, high contrast, keyboard-friendly navigation, text-to-speech, and much more. Install, enable, done: every feature works out of the box, and each one can be turned off individually. The plugin itself makes no external requests and sends no data to Rank+. It has no account, CDN files, or tracking, and visitor preferences are stored only in the visitor's own browser. Voice commands use browser or platform speech recognition, so microphone audio may be processed remotely. The text reader sends selected or page text to browser or platform speech-synthesis services; that text may be processed remotely, depending on the visitor's browser or device settings. Accessibility standards The toolbar features are designed around the success criteria of WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard referenced by accessibility regulations in many countries — including the ADA and Section 508 (United States), EN 301 549 and the Web Accessibility Directive (European Union), BITV 2.0 and the BFSG (Germany), the Disability Discrimination Act (Australia), the Equality Act 2010 (United Kingdom), and IS 5568 (Israel). The statement generator can reference the standard relevant to your region. Please note: accessibility is a property of your whole website — content, theme, media, and code. No plugin alone can make a website fully accessible or guarantee legal compliance. • Fixed scattered English text on translated sites. When a language was partly translated on translate.wordpress.org, that partial translation replaced the complete one bundled with the plugin, so some of the toolbar fell back to English. The bundled translations now fill in whatever the online translation is missing.
• The space bar on the on-screen keyboard now shows its label in your language instead of always reading "Space".
• The on-screen keyboard's language button and close button now describe themselves properly to screen readers.

• Text reader mode no longer swallows clicks on links, buttons, and form fields, so the page stays fully operable — by mouse and by keyboard — while the reader is switched on.
• The magnifier and the reading focus band now follow keyboard focus as well as the mouse pointer, so keyboard-only and touch visitors can use both.
• The reading focus band dims the page less, so text outside the band stays readable.
• Toolbar text, icons, and the focus ring now pick their own color automatically based on the main color you choose, so they stay readable with any color. A color that no text can be read on is no longer accepted, and the reason is explained on the settings screen.
• Control borders and the focus indicator inside the toolbar are darker, so they are visible against the panel.
• High and low contrast modes now also recolor placeholder text and icons, so icon-only buttons on the site no longer disappear when a mode is on.
• The "highlight hidden elements" mode no longer fades the elements it marks, so their text keeps its original contrast.
• Links keep a distinct focus indicator while "highlight links" is on.
• The toolbar panel now fits narrow screens and heavy zoom without clipped labels.
• The magnifier's page copy is no longer reachable by keyboard, so focus can no longer disappear into it.
• Number keys 1-9 no longer get intercepted while you are typing in a field, a dropdown, or a rich-text editor.
• The spacing buttons now announce which spacing they adjust, and the landmark markers are hidden from screen readers.
• Closing the toolbar no longer pulls focus away from whatever you just clicked, and turning the toolbar off moves focus to the re-enable control.
• Voice command status is now announced, including when the microphone is blocked.
• The accessibility statement page is generated in the site's language rather than your profile language, and an invalid contact email is now reported instead of being silently dropped.

• When another Rank+ accessibility toolbar is active on the site, this one now steps aside automatically instead of showing a second floating button.
• Fixed: "Reset all settings" now also turns off the magnifier, virtual keyboard, read-on-click reader, voice commands, and smart navigation; a corrupted saved preference can no longer break the toolbar; and text-to-speech stops when you navigate to another page.
