whitetip-ai-chatdirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin directly through the WordPress plugins screen. - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to the WhiteTip AI Chat menu item in your WordPress admin menu.
- Select your preferred AI Provider (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude) and enter your API Key.
- Click Test API Connection to verify your setup.
- (Optional) Go to Tab 2: Context & RAG and click Sync / Index Context Now to index your WooCommerce products and pages.
- Customize your chat launcher and widget colors in Tab 3: Styling & Widget and save settings.

Yes. You can use your API key from OpenAI, Google AI Studio (Gemini), or Anthropic Claude. Direct dashboard links are provided inside the plugin settings to help you get your key in one click.
Does WhiteTip AI Chat work with WooCommerce?
Yes! When WooCommerce is active, WhiteTip AI Chat can index your products (titles, descriptions, prices, stock status, and permalinks) so the AI assistant can answer pricing and availability questions and provide direct shopping links.
Is visitor language detection automatic?
Yes. The default system prompt instructs the AI model to detect the language used by the visitor in real-time and reply strictly in that language.
Which languages are included in WhiteTip AI Chat?
WhiteTip AI Chat is fully translation-ready (i18n). All user-facing strings are properly localized and can be translated into any language via translate.wordpress.org.
Can I customize the appearance of the chat widget?
Absolutely. You can customize the launcher button size, launcher border radius (circle, squircle, or square), icon size, chat window width, window border radius, bot avatar image, primary accent color, background color, and message bubble colors.
Does this plugin include external tracking or telemetry?
No. WhiteTip AI Chat does not collect or transmit tracking data or telemetry. All requests are processed securely between your WordPress site and your chosen AI provider's official API endpoint.
