- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New and search for WordAI.
- Click Install Now, then click Activate.
- You can also upload the plugin folder manually to
/wp-content/plugins/wordai/and activate it from Plugins. - Go to WordAI > API Settings.
- Choose OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok, or DeepSeek as your AI provider.
- Add the API key for your selected provider and save settings.
- Review WordAI > Content Settings and WordAI > Image Settings, then start generating content, titles, tags, excerpts, and images.

What is WordAI?
WordAI is an AI content, image, search optimization, and AI assistant plugin for WordPress. It helps create post and page content, generate supported images, suggest titles, run SEO workflows, and power a frontend AI Chat experience from inside WordPress.
Do I need an API key?
Yes. Add an API key for OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok, or DeepSeek in WordAI > API Settings. The required key depends on the AI provider you select.
Which AI providers are supported?
WordAI supports OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok, and DeepSeek with provider-aware model lists and settings.
Which OpenAI models are available?
WordAI includes the GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna family alongside GPT-5.5 and compatible OpenAI models. Image generation includes GPT Image 1.5 plus ChatGPT Images 2.0 / GPT Image 2 when available in your OpenAI account.
Why is GPT Image 1.5 the default image model?
GPT Image 1.5 is selected by default so most users can generate images immediately. Users who have access to newer image models can select them from WordAI > Image Settings.
Which providers can generate images?
OpenAI, Google Gemini, and xAI Grok support image generation in WordAI. Anthropic Claude and DeepSeek are available for text workflows, but they do not currently provide native image generation through their standard API keys.
How does Prompt Assistant help content generation?
Prompt Assistant gives structured prompt templates for common writing goals so users can describe the topic, audience, tone, and search intent more clearly before generating content.
What SEO tools are included?

What is the WordAI dashboard widget?

Does WordAI work with Google Search Console?
WordAI includes Search Console reporting workflows through SOFTCOY services so site owners can review search performance and optimization opportunities from the WordPress admin.
What is AI Agent?
AI Agent helps turn selected site content into a knowledge source for a frontend AI Chat assistant. The assistant can answer visitor questions using indexed content and help users understand your site faster.
Can I use WordAI for WooCommerce products?
WooCommerce product content and image workflows are available in WordAI Pro.
Does WordAI replace SEO plugins like Yoast SEO or Rank Math?
No. WordAI is designed to work alongside popular SEO plugins where possible. It focuses on AI-assisted content creation, SEO analysis, optimization suggestions, and Search Console insight while avoiding unnecessary conflicts with existing SEO metadata workflows.

Does WordAI update database tables during normal plugin updates?
Yes. WordAI includes a versioned database updater that runs in wp-admin after plugin updates, so new or changed custom tables and columns can be applied without deactivating and reactivating the plugin.
Why are my results truncated?
This usually happens when API parameters are too strict. Reset to defaults in API Settings, then try again.
I do not see generated output. What should I check?
Confirm the selected provider API key is saved, the selected model is available in your provider account, and your server can reach the provider API. If needed, reset API Settings to defaults and test again.
