Yunits for WP

Integrate your Yunits Community with WordPress and combine the best of both worlds. Agenda, Blog and News on Your WordPress Site This plugin enables you to retrieve Agenda, Blog and News items from your Yunits Community and display them on your WordPress site. These items include metadata, allowing you to create gated content using the Yunits roles specified in the metadata. If you decide to also synchronise Yunits Theme's (see Knowledge Bases below) it will also automatically connect them as taxonomy terms which you can use to create filters in FacetWP for example. Knowledge Bases If you use FacetWP, you can retrieve Yunits Themes from your Yunits Community and synchronise them as taxonomies to your chosen Post Types. This allows you to create Knowledge Base posts in WordPress, enrich them with themes, and ensure your Yunits Community can read the FacetWP API to synchronise those items. Single Sign On via OpenID Connect While not part of this plugin, we provide recommendations and instructions on setting up Single Sign-On using OpenID Connect.

1.22.0: Sep 22, 2026

• Fix: blog imports stopped after the first 100 items, because the importer queued a hook name nothing listened for
• Fix: only fetch changed content since the last successful import, instead of since the newest publication date, which permanently skipped edits to older items
• Fix: abort an import when the API returns an error instead of treating it as a completed run, and retry once after a 401 or 403 with a fresh token
• Fix: apply the configured timeout to the token request
• Fix: unschedule the blog import when blogs are disabled, rather than when agendas are
• Fix: resume the FacetWP and SearchWP indexers when an import fails part way through
• Fix: keep working when a post cannot be inserted or updated, instead of a fatal error
• Fix: the dashboard widget import buttons no longer stop working when a content type is disabled
• Add: report repeated API failures on the dashboard widget
• Add: unit test suite
• Change: the scheduled import always fetches everything; only a manually triggered import (settings page, dashboard widget, WP-CLI) is limited to items changed since the last successful run
• Add: store the image focus point (imageFocusPoint) of news, agenda and blog items as post meta

Note: the first import after upgrading fetches everything, since there is no previous sync timestamp to work from yet. 1.21.1: Oct 23, 2025
