ConvertForce is a popup builder for WordPress that uses the WordPress block editor. Campaigns get their own screen under the ConvertForce menu, and you build them with the same blocks, the same styling controls, and the same sidebar you already use for posts and pages. There is no separate drag and drop builder to learn and no page builder required. Most popup plugins hand you a locked-down drag and drop canvas with its own widgets, its own styling panel, and its own way of doing everything. ConvertForce does not. If you can build a page in WordPress, you can build a popup in ConvertForce. What you can build Three display types Every campaign starts by choosing one of three display types:
  1. Notification Bar: a full width notification bar pinned to the top or bottom of the screen. Good for announcements, shipping offers, cookie notices, and site-wide alerts.
  2. Lightbox Popup: a centered popup over a dimmed backdrop. Good for offers, signups, and messages that need full attention.
  3. Slide-In Popup: a small box that slides in from a corner. Good for nudges, support prompts, and floating buttons that should not interrupt reading.
You can switch a campaign from one type to another at any time without rebuilding it. 12 ready-made patterns, or start from scratch Each display type comes with pre-built patterns you can insert and edit: Every pattern is made of regular WordPress blocks, so you can change the text, colors, images, and layout with the normal editor controls. Triggers: decide when the popup appears Display conditions: decide where it appears Set a campaign to Show on or Hide on specific parts of your site. Target the entire site, singular content (individual posts, pages, or custom post types), or archives (categories, tags, author and date archives). Stack multiple conditions on one campaign to get exactly the audience you want. Advanced Targeting (Pro) adds 37 further conditions across 8 categories, including browser, device, operating system, referrer, URL parameters, cookies, on-page HTML, and logged-in user state. What is ConvertForce?

ConvertForce is a free WordPress popup plugin that lets you create popups, notification bars, and slide-in boxes using the WordPress block editor. A Pro version adds advanced triggers and targeting.

Does ConvertForce require a page builder?

No. It uses the built-in WordPress block editor. You do not need Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or any other page builder.

Does it work with the Classic Editor?

No. ConvertForce is built on the block editor, so the Classic Editor is not supported.

Does it work with block themes and full site editing?

Yes. ConvertForce is fully block-based and works with block themes, classic themes, and full site editing.

Where do I create a popup?

Go to ConvertForce > New Campaign in your WordPress admin. Each campaign opens in its own editor built on the block editor. Popups are not created from inside the post or page editor, which keeps them separate from your content and lets you show one campaign across many pages.

Can I create exit intent popups?

Yes, exit intent is available in ConvertForce Pro. The free version includes the page load trigger.

Can I create a scroll triggered popup?

Yes. Scroll depth, time on page, and user inactivity triggers are all part of ConvertForce Pro.

Can I collect email addresses?

Yes. You can drop in a form block from your form plugin (WPForms, Fluent Forms, Bit Forms, and so on), paste a shortcode, or add your email service's embed code with the core Custom HTML block. All three work the same inside a campaign as they do on a page.

Does the notification bar push content down or cover it?

ConvertForce bars can push your page content down instead of overlaying it. Your header, sticky menu, and navigation stay fully visible and nothing gets hidden behind the bar. When a visitor closes the bar, the page moves back up to its normal position. This is one of the main things that separates ConvertForce from bar plugins that simply float over the top of your site.

Can I create a cookie consent bar?

Yes. There is a Cookie Bar pattern included, and you can style and target it however you need. ConvertForce handles the display side of a cookie notice, not consent logging or script blocking.

Can I show a popup on only one page or one category?

Yes. Display Conditions let you show or hide a campaign on the entire site, on singular content, or on archives, and you can stack multiple conditions on one campaign.

Can I show different popups on desktop and mobile?

You can style any campaign differently per device using the responsive controls. Targeting by device type as a display condition is part of Advanced Targeting in Pro.

Will it slow down my site?

No. ConvertForce only loads the assets a campaign needs and adds no third-party scripts.

Does ConvertForce track my visitors?

No. Dismissal and frequency data stays in the visitor's browser. Nothing is sent to DotCamp or any third party.

Is it compatible with caching plugins?

Yes. ConvertForce is built to work with common caching and performance plugins out of the box.

Is ConvertForce accessible?

Campaigns can be closed with the Escape key as well as the close button, and because they are built from core WordPress blocks, the accessibility built into those blocks carries over.

Can I use any block inside a popup?

Yes. Core WordPress blocks, blocks from other plugins, and shortcodes all work inside a campaign.

Is ConvertForce free?
