The Knowtify plugin is the only all-in-one mailing list builder and email delivery plugin available on the Wordpress platform. With the Knowtify plug-in you will be able to:
- Build your Mailing lists - start your subscriber list by starting with a list of current subscribers and dynamically building that over time as visitors comment or consume content on your blog.
- Automatically send daily or weekly digest emails to your subscribers - subscribers will get a beautiful, responsive daily or weekly email with a summary of all the posts you posted during that time. Virtually no set-up needed!
Build your Mailing List
Building a high quality mailing list for your blog subscribers is not easy. With the Knowtify plugin, you can upload any current subscribers you may have (via CSV) and collect additional subscribers in several different ways. In this version, you will have the ability to:
- automatically add anyone who comments on any of your posts to your mailing list (commenters will have the option to opt out of this)
- enable a simple sign-up form at the bottom of each post to collect new subscribers
- enable a full sign-up bar that extends across the bottom of any page of your blog
These options can all be configured in the plugin admin section.
Automatically send daily or weekly digest emails
With the Knowtify plugin, there is no need to go to an external email service provider to build an email template and there is no need to integrate your RSS feed into an external provider. With Knowtify, all of this is handled from within the plugin. Once this plugin is installed, you will automatically start sending a weekly digest to your subscribers with all your posts from the previous week.
Optimized HTML Templates
All Knowtify emails are HTML templates that are tested and optimized for web and mobile devices as well as the top email clients, including:
- Apple iOS Mail app
- Gmail iOS & Android apps
- iOS & Android tablets
- Desktop email clients
Email delivery options
Knowtify email digests are much more effective than traditional, event-based RSS emails. With traditional RSS emails, your readers are bombarded with an email every time you write a post - most of which can be forgotten in the hustle of the daily routine.
With digest emails, you can summarize your posts for a period of time (daily, weekly or other) allowing your subscribers to interact with a collection of your posts.
Weekly delivery
By default, your plugin is setup to send a weekly digest email to your subscribers on Saturday morning. This will contain all the posts that you publish on your blog between the time the previous digest was sent and this time.
If you have not published any posts during this time, you will not send a digest email to your subscribers. You must publish at least one digest during this time for an email to be sent.
Daily delivery
You can decide to have a daily digest sent to your subscribers instead of the weekly. This would operate the same as the weekly, but be sent out every morning - assuming you have published posts the day before. Again, if you have not published any posts during this time, an email will not be sent to your subscribers.
Free vs Paid Versions
The Knowtify plugin operates under a simple freemium model based on email volume.
You can use the Knowtify plugin to up to 2,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month for free. After that, we have two main pricing tiers.
For $49/month, you can send up to 20,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month.
For $129/month, you can send up to 100,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month.
With this version of the plugin, there are several optional functions that you may want to use to customize your Wordpress digest that must be completed through the main Knowtify app. These include:
- Uploading a CSV of current subscribers
- Changing the frequency of the digest
Logging in to the main Knowtify app
You can login to the main Knowtify app at:

Uploading a CSV of current subscribers
If you have a CSV list of current subscribers, you can upload them to your account here. Once logged in to the Knowtify app, go to the Contacts tab and click “Import CSV.” Make sure that your CSV file uses the headings ‘name’ and ‘email’.
Changing the frequency of your digest
Once in the Knowtify main app, you can also change the frequency of your digest. Simply go to the Digest tab, click on your digest and then go to the Schedule button. From here you can set the days you want your digest to be sent as well as the time of day. Make sure that your digest is set to Live before leaving and also be sure to click Update Settings. Voila - your digest frequency has been set.
