详情介绍:

The Knowtify plugin is the only all-in-one mailing list builder and email delivery plugin available on the Wordpress platform. With the Knowtify plug-in you will be able to:
  1. Build your Mailing lists - start your subscriber list by starting with a list of current subscribers and dynamically building that over time as visitors comment or consume content on your blog.
  2. Automatically send daily or weekly digest emails to your subscribers - subscribers will get a beautiful, responsive daily or weekly email with a summary of all the posts you posted during that time. Virtually no set-up needed!
Build your Mailing List Building a high quality mailing list for your blog subscribers is not easy. With the Knowtify plugin, you can upload any current subscribers you may have (via CSV) and collect additional subscribers in several different ways. In this version, you will have the ability to: These options can all be configured in the plugin admin section. Automatically send daily or weekly digest emails With the Knowtify plugin, there is no need to go to an external email service provider to build an email template and there is no need to integrate your RSS feed into an external provider. With Knowtify, all of this is handled from within the plugin. Once this plugin is installed, you will automatically start sending a weekly digest to your subscribers with all your posts from the previous week. Optimized HTML Templates All Knowtify emails are HTML templates that are tested and optimized for web and mobile devices as well as the top email clients, including: Email delivery options Knowtify email digests are much more effective than traditional, event-based RSS emails. With traditional RSS emails, your readers are bombarded with an email every time you write a post - most of which can be forgotten in the hustle of the daily routine. With digest emails, you can summarize your posts for a period of time (daily, weekly or other) allowing your subscribers to interact with a collection of your posts. Weekly delivery By default, your plugin is setup to send a weekly digest email to your subscribers on Saturday morning. This will contain all the posts that you publish on your blog between the time the previous digest was sent and this time. If you have not published any posts during this time, you will not send a digest email to your subscribers. You must publish at least one digest during this time for an email to be sent. Daily delivery You can decide to have a daily digest sent to your subscribers instead of the weekly. This would operate the same as the weekly, but be sent out every morning - assuming you have published posts the day before. Again, if you have not published any posts during this time, an email will not be sent to your subscribers. Free vs Paid Versions The Knowtify plugin operates under a simple freemium model based on email volume. You can use the Knowtify plugin to up to 2,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month for free. After that, we have two main pricing tiers. For $49/month, you can send up to 20,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month. For $129/month, you can send up to 100,000 emails to an unlimited number of subscribers per month.

其他记录:

With this version of the plugin, there are several optional functions that you may want to use to customize your Wordpress digest that must be completed through the main Knowtify app. These include: Logging in to the main Knowtify app You can login to the main Knowtify app at: http://knowtify.io/login Uploading a CSV of current subscribers If you have a CSV list of current subscribers, you can upload them to your account here. 常见问题:

Will this plugin automatically send emails?

Yes, once you install and set up the Knowtify plugin, it will automatically start sending weekly digest emails to your subscriber base.

How do I upload a list of current subscribers to Knowtify?

You can upload a CSV of current subscribers to your Knowtify account. With this version of the plugin, we do not support uploading these lists via the plugin. You will need to upload these subscribers via the main Knowtify app. See the OTHER NOTES section for instructions on logging into the Knowtify app and uploading your CSV file.

How is my subscriber list updated?

The Knowtify plugin provides three ways in which you can update your subscriber list. First of all, all commenters on your blog, by default, will be added to your subscriber list (they can opt out). You will also have the option of including a signup form at the bottom of every post OR at the bottom of every page in your blog. The post-level form is less intrusive, but will only be visible to readers who make it to the bottom of any post - making it potentially less effective in growing a mailing list. The form posted across every page of your blog is more intrusive for your readers, but, as a result, will likely be more effective at driving sign-ups. The Knowtify app will automatically update your list whenever anyone signs up via any of these methods.

Can I choose the form in which my subscribers are collected?

Yes, you can configure this from the Blog Settings tab on the plugin admin interface.

What if I don’t publish any posts during the week?

Knowtify will never send an empty digest to your subscribers. If you don’t publish any posts, your digest will not be sent.

How do I add content to my digest?

Content will be added to your digest automatically as you publish posts. However, you will need to add two things to every post to insure that your digest email looks good. You will need to add a featured image for each post as well as an excerpt of the post. Featured images should be around a 1:1 aspect ratio and larger than 75px for best results.

What is the right size for the blog header image?

Any size will work but we recommend using a large image with a horizontal aspect ratio. High quality photos that are around 800x250 look nice.
