Employee Directory is a searchable staff and team directory plugin for WordPress. Display employees with photos, job titles, departments, and bios in a clean, filterable layout that visitors can browse or search by name, title, or department.
Built to scale from small teams to large organizations, Employee Directory supports enterprise use cases like company intranets, org charts, and centralized identity sync with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and LDAP, available through official add-ons and the Professional version. Custom fields, advanced layouts, and reporting hierarchies are also available with Professional.
Employee Directory supports a modular architecture designed for growing organizations. Start with a simple directory and extend it as your needs evolve.

The simplest way to install is to click on 'Plugins' then 'Add' and type 'Employee Directory' in the search field.
Manual Installation Type 1
- Login to your website and go to the Plugins section of your admin panel.
- Click the Add New button.
- Under Install Plugins, click the Upload link.
- Select the plugin zip file from your computer then click the Install Now button.
- You should see a message stating that the plugin was installed successfully.
- Click the Activate Plugin link.
- You should have access to the server where WordPress is installed. If you don't, see your system administrator.
- Copy the plugin zip file up to your server and unzip it somewhere on the file system.
- Copy the "empd-com" folder into the /wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress installation.
- Login to your website and go to the Plugins section of your admin panel.
- Look for "Employee Directory" and click Activate.

What information can I display for each employee?
You can show name, photo, job title, department, and bio. Adding custom fields is available in the Professional version.

Yes. Categories or tags can be used to organize employees and display them accordingly.
Is the directory mobile-friendly?
Yes. All layouts are fully responsive and work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
Can I use this plugin for a company intranet?
Yes. Employee Directory is ideal for internal staff listings on company intranets or private sites.
Does it support LDAP, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID integration?
Yes. Integration is available via official add-ons, letting you sync users from centralized identity systems so employee data stays consistent across platforms.
