FitConsent CMP

Method 1: Installation via WordPress Dashboard

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
3. In the search bar, type "FitConsent CMP" and press Enter.
4. Find the "FitConsent CMP" plugin in the search results and click Install Now.
5. After installation, click Activate.

Method 2: Manual Installation via FTP

1. Download the FitConsent CMP plugin from the official source.
2. Unzip the downloaded file to extract the fitconsent-cmp folder.
3. Connect to your website's server using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).
4. Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
5. Upload the entire fitconsent-cmp folder into this directory.
6. Go back to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins, and click Activate for "FitConsent CMP".

Post-Installation Configuration:

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > FitConsent.
2. Locate your FitConsent Website ID from your FitConsent Dashboard.
3. Enter this ID into the provided field and click Save Changes.

Integration with Google Site Kit (If applicable):

1. If you are using the Google Site Kit plugin, go to its settings.
2. Ensure that the Consent Mode option is enabled.

That's it! The FitConsent banner will now appear on your site and communicate with Google Site Kit.
