Maroon Horizon Smart Firewall focuses on practical hardening and malware detection for WordPress.
This WordPress.org (FREE) build is fully functional for the FREE feature set and is designed to run locally for those features. Advanced capabilities are provided by a separate PRO plugin (not included in this WordPress.org build).
Outbound network requests (if any) are disclosed below under "External Services" and "Privacy".
FREE features (local-only)
- Manual IP blocking and management.
- Security patch toggles for common hardening actions.
- Malware scanning of uploads and theme directories using local pattern detection (no external signatures).
- Quarantine management (restore / delete quarantined files).
- AI-Powered Threat Feed (encrypted subnet feed) and automatic sync.

- AI-Powered Deep Scan and scheduled email reports.
安装:
- Upload the plugin folder to your WordPress plugins directory, or install it via the WordPress Plugins screen.
- Activate the plugin through the "Plugins" screen in WordPress.
- Open the plugin from the WordPress admin menu and configure the firewall, patches, and scanner.

Does the FREE version contact external servers?
Most FREE features run locally and do not require third-party services. The only outbound requests made by this WordPress.org (FREE) build are disclosed in the "External Services" section above (for example, the optional Core Integrity Scan checksums request and optional Freemius opt-in).
Does the plugin upload my files to be scanned?
No. Malware scans run locally on your server. The plugin reports findings inside the WordPress admin.
How do I upgrade to PRO?
