How do I import demo content?
Install and activate a supported theme, activate this plugin, then go to Appearance → Demo Importer, choose a demo and click Import. The plugin handles downloads, plugin installation and content import for you.
Will importing overwrite my existing content?
No. The importer adds demo content alongside what you already have, so nothing is deleted. On a live site we still recommend taking a backup first, and importing on a fresh install for the cleanest result.
Why does the import stop halfway?
Almost always a server limit. Raise max_execution_time, memory_limit and upload_max_filesize in PHP, or ask your host to. The plugin shows the failing step so you know where to look, and you can safely run the import again.
Do I need Elementor?
Only if the demo was built with it. Elementor-based demos install and activate Elementor automatically during the import.
Can I remove the plugin after importing?
Yes. The imported content stays in your site. Deactivate and delete the plugin whenever you are done.
Does it work with any theme?
It works with any theme that provides a demo configuration through the plugin's filter. Scintilla themes are supported out of the box.
