- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/smooth-scrollingdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
- Smooth scrolling is enabled across the front end by default.
- Go to Settings > Smooth Scrolling to customize loading rules and advanced behavior. That is it 🙂

Yes. Smooth scrolling is enabled across the entire front end by default.
Can I load Smooth Scrolling only on specific pages?
Yes. Use the Include rules on the settings page to define exactly where the script should load.
What happens if I leave Include rules empty?
The plugin loads across the entire front end unless an Exclude rule matches the current page.
Can I change the scroll speed and animation feel?
Yes. The Advanced Scroll Tuning section lets you adjust frame rate, animation time, step size, acceleration, pulse scale, keyboard step size, and feature toggles.
Does the plugin collect personal data?
No. The plugin only controls frontend script loading and scrolling behavior. It does not collect or store visitor personal data.
